im still kinda worried about not putting any protective casing . bound to have scratches based on my usage ... padphone 1 users how do u all protect your tablet and phone ?

The best way to use the Padfone, both the first and the second generation, is, without any casing.

So what I do is to wrap the phone with transparent g-mask entirely.

For the Padfone station, I make sure that its in an Elecom Zero-shock case when in transit.

bro, mind sharing how much u got the whole set (padfone2, dock, gmask and shock case) for? rough estimate either in twd or sgd.

How's the battery life, for both the phone and pad?

I didn't use the station, since I took them out to take photos before putting back into the boxes.

The phone wise, it's a massive improvement over the first generation Padfone. On Padfone 1, heavy duty web browsing can reduce it's battery from 100% to 50% in 30mins. But on Padfone 2, the same task only drains 15%.

Both phone and station doesn't come with Micro SD card slot right? That's like a deal breaker for me cos 16 or 32gb gets filled up pretty quickly if you're using it as both a phone and tablet.

Unfortunately, that seems to be the case. You might want to consider the 64GB variant instead if that's the case.

It's passing by my possesion to another buyer. MO was cancelled because the additional orders cannot have warranty to be used in SG. And I don't think people want to pay such a high price for something that is coming here with eventual 1 year warranty here anyway.

2 years is because of pre-order in Taiwan, my friend hit it. The rest IIRC is 1 year. Sticky issues.

The set that EsPpY is holding is one of the sets that belonged to me.

Initially I bought 3 sets. 1 for myself, 2 for my friend. But something happened and I am letting go of the 2 sets that I bought for my friend.

The reason why the 3 sets have 2 years warranty? PM me to find out.

Currently, Padfone 2 will have 2 years TW warranty.

Eventually, after being launched in the various markets, it will be 1 year international with the option to send back to TW for 2nd year warranty.
