All my notifications are coming in late or never come in at all. My phone's MB has been changed, Starhub issued me a new sim card, Smart saving not turned on, no battery saving app installed. Really frustrating

Hi, i sent in for repair cos my wifi refused to stay awake eventhough i choose the option keep wifi on during sleep. Initially, they said it could be the wireless or network chip thats faulty but my mobile data is affected as well. Waited two weeks and when i collected my phone, was informed that MB was changed and the issue is solved. Reading up on other users posts, their MB was changed mainly due to it cannot boot up and crash after update to latest firmware.

after sending the phone in, do u (still) experience notifications coming in late? (whatsapp, etc)

Still late bro. I guess its starhub network used to work well before though

Did you check that the apps involved are kept alive in asus customized settings?

Yes i did. I turn on the option to keep all apps alive. But problem still not solved. Used singtel sim card and all notifications seems to work well

mine 1 time send for repair collect on 10 may (sent in 2week early)hp cant boot up due to MB die on me ( as ASUS admit on software issue before i can upgrade MB die)
On 28 or 29 May i sent in again this round BEST both speaker CMI, WIFI router beside me i got only 1MBPS spEED!!!( tried on my both router thought is my router problem and on other hp to cfm not my router problem ) and front speaker got sharp object porkin out ......... really XXX

Woah.. urs so jialat ah. Im luckier than you bro. Only push notifications not working well. Highly suspect its mobile carrier problem. Try complaining for ur case bro. See if can get special delivery to ur home. Haha

Got mine back, but don't even dare to use now. I think I'll just use it as a spare tablet, and sell before warranty expires.

Hey there, any bros having the problem that the padstation cannot detect the phone when docked in and the image of telling u to redock shows? I experienced this problem right after I changed the mb of the phone and now they telling me to bring down again.. Seriously..

Hi, i faced same problem. Just collected tablet today, as they said no problem found. They said firmware for tablet upgraded. Now can connect, but i feel that the touch sensitivity is off, also i can not press and hold to perform some function.

Going to service center tomorrow again. sian.

Whenever people are upset, they tend to complain and broadcast their misfortunes..
but good deeds are often passed unreported..

So I went to ASUS service center just last Saturday to purchase 2 usb-microusb cables for my PadFone 2. The customer service personnel mentioned that if it's faulty within a certain time period I can come to replace it.

This triggered me to enquire whether it's possible to exchange my original usb cable which was faulty and purchase an additional 1 instead of 2. He then tested my cable and (unfortunately) it was working..
I tested on my portable battery and (luckily) it wasn't working...
He proceeded to test his own cable on my portable battery and it was working per normal..

Although he initially insisted that finding the cable working it cannot be replaced, he was open to some evidence and my explaining that an unreliable cable to me is as good as a completely faulty one. Eg: The morning itself where I previously saw my phone charging before I went to bed, and woke up finding it not charged. It's something that may cause major inconvenience.

The customer service was reasonable enough to agree with my explanation and changed my invoice to purchase only 1 cable and replacing me the other.

So that left me pretty satisfied customer.

PS: I'm not an ASUS fanboy or anything, I just think kudos should be given where kudos are due.

I agree PadFone 2 came with a number of inconveniences (yes, I was one of the people who replaced a crashed motherboard and waited a little longer than the promised time)... But I think PadFone 2 delivered with what I would expect from such a product.

finally found some1 who has the same prob with me. i nv change mb or wat. just one day decided to use my padstation and unable to do it. the redock image appear. tried blowing the bust away at the pin area also useless.

search online seems like not a very common problem.

yet to go down service centre. super off the way from my workplace.

bring it down to svc ctr. i had the same problem. they said the connector corroded. changed on the spot and upgraded the firmware for me. took 1hr+ though.
