Hahaha... My phone died on me 2x and both occasions data was not backed up... Went down for servicing 3 times in less than 3 months... How wonderful is that?

No hating here, but when the PF2 crashed on me twice, that's when I chose to make the decision of selling this thing off 2 months ago for phone with microSD function.

Mine doesn't crash, but those 2 tabs are forever empty, which is as good as useless.

my screen protector is getting a bad cut from the station (straight as a ruler)... How many people around here have their padfones without a screen protector? how is it handling so far..?
(i'm thinking of getting rid of mine)

I'm using a matt SP and the scratches are not as obvious as when I was using the clear ones which I got previously from starhub.. dun have the "rainbow" effect..

Just got my padfone 2 with the free sleeve yesterday. Noticed the screen unlock is not very sensitive. Had to swipe and hold it a little at the unlock position. Is that normal? My previous android didn't have this same reaction. Still playing around with it atm.

you mean hold it a little when you slide to unlock your phone??
mine has no lag at all..

on the phone or station? there's a calibration software from asus website, you might wanna try it out...
I've never used it, but seems a lot of people found it a good solution for touch problems. Although I'm not sure whether it's only for station problems...?

Mine's a matt SP too.... but over the months now has a particular deep line cut on the SP.. significant enough depression that your nail can catch it..

Edit: omg, i was curious so i examined the station, there's a dust trapped inside my station's protector... causing a tiny buldge.. which evidently is the cause of the big scratch... zzZzZzz..

removed it, see how it goes... probably will need a new SP...

I sent back the padfone 2 to Asus service center on 24 April and just got it back on 7 May....

Had issue with hearing the calling party unless i use the headphone... Battery overnight drainage was incredible ....

They replaced the phone's internal speaker and battery plus re-flashing of firmware... It took longer than the 5 working days as promised....

Used to my phone until i sold it to an aussie friend... lol... he had to ship it back to me in singapore ..

since the day i bought. nope, my screen is still all good. my side got one dent loh, cause dropped it accidentally :/

The side is damn weak and dents easily.. dropped mine last week and dented real badly.. replacement cost 45 bucks!

Did they replace the camera component or js clean the dust inside? Taiwan asus did replace the camera with completely sealed camera to solve this problem.

My camera also got dust but if they dint replace the camera component then i dun think is worth to waste time on asus service center.

can i just ask where do u guys get ur screen protectors (for both the phone and the station) from?

got 1 from SLS months ago that was manually cut but now it has scratches all over and so looking for new one. pls SIC lobang if got any

previously i the problem i encounter was the dust was affecting the image quality. i was told it was replaced and they apply some seal that is white in colour. ( can see the parameter of the lens) but no use. dust still enters. really unhappy abt it.

Padfone2 bricked

I am jus back from Asus service center. waited almost an hour to collect my Padfone2.

What they did: Changed MB
Which in turn - IMEI nos all changed.

Consequences: All my online game have to be transfer. But some of the game need special code in the game from the "Old Device". most likely my online credits will be gone... there goes my money.....

STUPID ASUS.... POOR MANUFACTURING OF MB...
