May I check where you got your Jsaux dock from? For SSD, 2 TB WD seems to be the commonly available one currently. Any reason to go for Sabrent instead?

Got the Sabrent 2TB from Amazon US. Very expensive plus tax, but hope it will work more reliably in the long run.

I ordered 2x Western Digital 2TB SN740 NVMe PCIe 4x4 2230 SSDs for $180 each on Aliexpress and they arrived.

Tested both of them to be legit using Western Digital Dashboard - also latest firmware.

Speeds are as advertised and should run well in ROG Ally

Also bought a case to fit the SSD coming out of Ally. A 2230 USB case for $15 each.

Here is both the SN740 2TB. In their cases.

Also got myself a Sabrent Steamdeck dock [Tested to work with my phone] and a 512gb microSD card for use with Ally, mainly to store emulators.

Yes, I bought from Factor Direct Collected Store.

For Sabrent dock, it was from Amazon.sg - about $45. Not the best dock since it doesn't have network port or storage option. Only 1x HDMI up to 4k60. 1x type c Power input[PD to 95W], 1x type c, 3x Type a usb

Yeah, Western Digital acquired SanDisk back in 2016. So they're basically same company.
