Hi guys,
Some updates:
ASUS Introduces the Synchronization Function for AURA Software for Motherboards and VGAs
AURA now expands two core functionalities
1) For simpler lighting effects, the lighting is synced in unison between the motherboard and the graphics Card
2) For dynamic lighting effect, the lighting is able to flow seamlessly across both the motherboard and the graphics card (this allows both the board and the card to function akin to two complementary instruments of an orchestra that plays a "lighting symphony" e.g. Comet, Flash, Dash)
Some FAQ -
How do you know if your product supports this feature?
Starting from X99 refresh motherboards (Rampage V Edition 10, Strix X99 Gaming, X99 Deluxe-II....) onwards, every single motherboard supports the sync function, regardless of the chipset.
The VGAs that support the sync function start from the ROG Strix NVIDIA and AMD latest generation (i.e. 1080, 1070, R480 etc.)
Please PM me if you are unsure and want to check if your model is compatible.
Where to download?
You can download the software from relevant motherboard's support site (not on the VGA site). Please make sure to always use the latest BIOS.
Cheers!
Cheryl
