Any body has a problem with the wifi and gps issues that is floating around the internet?

Not too sure whether this is gonna be an issue. the US quite vocal about this problem but not too sure about local sets but I think that it should be the same.

actually, sometimes i find typing on the tablet to be laggy, not sure if others experienced this? especially the spacebar or is it that area is not sensitive enough lol.

A bit concerned about the news on the Tablet signal performance. For those that are considering to buy one just make sure that you do some checks around the Internet and be sure that you know what you see buying into.

Quick Update for People finding Transformer Prime + Dock:
Asus Roadshow at Funan only left with 1 tablet no dock.

If its comparable with s 2 then should be OK. I am using the Samsung phone and its pretty OK for me. GPS acquisition is slow but I think its due to the phone software. Just can't compare with a dedicated unit.

I'm pretty sure that despite the "bad" US reviews of prime, it will still sell like hotcakes...just like TF101.
I remember that May 2011, beside Ipad2, TF101 is the next hottest selling pad...(everywhere sold out til August when stock are fully in..)
& of course, the "newer" Prime that is to come, just make this sexy thing becoming an collector's item..

if u r keen in buying, stick to 1 shop...gv your contact thus their stock in, they could contact u.
That way, save time doin Prime amazing race :p

I noticed that it is much easier for the iPad or iPhone to detect wifi networks and remained locked compared to Android devices... my school's secure network is hidden. And I am using Android 2.3 on a Xperia Arc and I am 99% of the time not able to even detect the network while all my colleagues using iPhones or iPads are able to get good signal strengths... whatever!

That's pretty strange. Think Apple still have the lead in technology advancement. Even though we are now into the second generation of tablets yet we are not able to even match the battery life of the initial iPad.

iPad(1 or 2) are 9.7" & 7000mAH battery
Android are generally 10.1" & with similar battery life.

larger screen means more power...thus android devices tend to lose out on this area.

the soon to release Ipad with 14000mAH will be the "killer"...
It will be interesting to see the weight.

battery life, screen size, weight etc are factors a user will determine

Issit confirmed that the new iPad will be 14000mAH. Wow. That will really change the playing field. Good to give the other competitors a kick in the butt. Battery life will ultimately be tree game changer. .
