Can check if the unit has backlit keyboard?

I am using the ux305la with i5 processor. No keyboard backlight.

Just for sharing, I have ordered the microsd card adapter for the notebook. On its way to Singapore. Shld be able to work like MacBook. Expand the storage space.

The microsd card adapter inserts nicely in the reader slot with abt 1 mm protruding out. It's for taking out the adapter.

Now my ux305 has in total 300 GB useable storage. (256 + 128 from ssd & microsd card)

Why don't buy a high end SD card? You can go up to 256 GB for those pro cards that photographers or videographers use... mSD cards are always much slower...

Because the SD card slot in ux305 is not for normal size SD card. Due to the sleek design of the notebook, the slot is smaller. If u plug in a normal size SD card, it will protrude out by a lot.

It depends on individuals. I don't prefer keep plugging in the SD card.

I see... a bit of a pity... cos SD cards are really very much cheaper than mSD ones... you can easily get a 512 GB SD card for a high end 128 GB mSD card.

use an international forward like comgateway and send it to them. CGW will then send it to you in Singapore.
