been looking to get one since before sitex. so far no one i talked to in the stores have been able to put a date to when they get stock. what's the exact spec you want?

wondering if the spec that i want will come to singapore. when i search for the spec that i want, it seems like can only pre-order from australian websites =\

was able to get my hands on the asus product guide for dec-jan 2016 from one of the stores. the ux305ua is said to be out in jan 2016 with the i5 and i7 model.. im looking at the i5 one with fhd screen, 8gb ram and 256gb ssd

i believe the i7 model is with qhd and 512gb ssd

was at Funan on New Year Day. There is a road show at ground floor with various notebook vendors. Saw the Asus UX305UA, the i5 model is selling at $1389, i7 model with 512gb at $1898. There is also at m7 6Y75 model also selling at $1898. Both i7 and m7 are having 3200 x 1800 resolution screen.

Thanks.. Knew about these before. These are all serious ripoffs; total cost price is probably less than 5 cents. Charging thousands of percentage points above cost to rip off apple users

where do you get the "cheaper version"?

i think its a nifty idea, and if there is avail locally at half the price, i dont mind to buy it

Saw the entry level at a Jurong Point fair. $1098 with Core M processor, 4GB RAM, 128 GB SSD. It's about $99 more for the newer Core M processor compared to the one I bought last year in April. Both carry entry level Core M processors except that the current model's processor is beefed up. Good enough for most users as long as you don't play high end games.

Does anyone knows whether the Asus Ux305LA selling at Amazon provided international warranty?

IIRC, Asus offers International Warranty on all laptops. You may wish to use the Q&A on Amazon for a more accurate response.

Hi I am a noob who really needs help.
I am choosing between these. Found at courts.
1. Asus Ux305ca M36y30
Internal storage:
128G SSD / main memory is DRAM DDRG 4G $1098
And
2. Asus X556 i7-6500U internal storage : 1TB HDD/
Main memory is DDR3HG $1098

Wanted to buy Ux305 but
The personnel said X556 has better specs and ux305 onky M core.
I need for basic use. Office. Watch youtube videos. Surf net. Not too slow.
Had wanted to get Lenovo G4080 but courts said its sold out. I5 5200, 4GB Ram, 500 GB HDD.

Any other model selling at courts or challenger is appreciated too. My budget is below 1K.

Thank you thank you in advanced to all those who can help.

Stick to the ASUS UX305UA. You will find that it's much lighter and more than adequate for what you need. The incredible slimline profile and super light weight will mean that you won't mind carrying it around for work. Also the fact that it can switch on from cold in 12 seconds and last about 8 hours of continuous use means that you don't even need to carry the power brick around. All you really need is a high capacity USB 3.0 flash drive (like 64 GB) and you're really set.

Hi, need a lightweight laptop for school ,office , web browsing and travelling (Not into gaming)

Is Asus ux305LA-FC002T selling it at best denki for $1098 a good buy? The spec shown is a 5th gen i5 models which comes with 4gb ram and 128gb. Weight is 1.3kg. I prefer the newer gen that come with 8gb ram with 256gb SSD but i am not sure what is the lowest price can get now. (Both model is selling at sitex nov 2015 for $1398)

Another shortlisted is K401UB-FR004T
Slighly heavier at 1.65kg. But a newer 6th gen i7 processor. Selling at promotion price $1198 with standard free gifts
