Re

That's the srp right?

Hope it goes cheaper.

Some more the price was 1299 USD in their slides.i assume was lowest spec, jump so much and no 4k screen and windows not pro edition also.. Sad Sia.

If 4K screen and with its full 32Gpbs TB3 ports sure to exceed $3K....maybe same or slightly more expensive than the DELL 9560 ah

Not true. Hardly any other brand can give full 32Gbps TB3(to confirm) and 4K at 15 inch screen

The important thing is whether the screen is true RGB 4K or the fake pentile 4K screen. If former then ok otheriwise it's really wasted

It shld be tb3 according to specs on their web.

But since their prices can change so drastically

Specs must wait till its out to see :s13:
Still hoping its under 2500 for full HD.

Sure sell like hotcakes

Don't need 4k for 15 inch for me

Many manufacturers quote for their TB3 with speed up to 32 Gbps but actually it's only at 16 Gbps.....even DELL does so

So have to be careful on this

Re

If got lobang would order. Since it's international warranty?

If you are so kan cheong you just tell ASUS Singapore that you want to buy 200 sets lor. I guarantee they will fly the sets in immediately like using DHL or FedEx

Then you can sell them to users here lah

Eh....you can check with ASUS Singapore whether international warranty is covered, ok?

:D

Actually, I'm only targeting 2 sets and they are

ASUS Zenbook Pro UX550 - Provided it comes with true RGB 4K screen(not the fake 4K pentile screen) and running TB3 at 32 Gbps

or

LG Gram 15 2017 - If it comes with the 16GB RAM and with touchscreen. The only advantage of this over the ASUS is its super light weight and longer battery life. 4K gaming using TB3 is secondary. I think it's highly unlikely to be available here since it debuts the 8GB RAM without touchscreen not so long ago.

Never mind. I'll take which ever comes first at the next computer show. Together with the Razer Power Bank I can go whole day without the need to look for ac outet leow
