No.

Asus TUF-BE6500 China version seems to be the only Asus China version router to have this problem -- only CN and AU region settings available.

I was hoping the FW updates will sort out the issue but so far no FW updates yet.

On the other hand, it is not a real problem for most users.
Hi xiaofan and experts here, got a stupid question... I understand au version have a higher power output, are there any study on whether the au radiation is excessive until it harms the human body?

No.

Your mobile phone has higher emission anyway.

BTW, AU has very high life expectancies as well, similar to Singapore.

My TUF-BE6500 China version automatically upgraded to the latest FW version (same as global version). Unfortunately the issue remains that only two WiFi regions are available -- CN and AU. I have to use AU now since CN region got less Tx power.

*Please be advised that due to an architecture upgrade in AiMesh, we highly discourage downgrading to earlier firmware versions as it may result in connectivity problems. If you experience any difficulties, we suggest resetting the AiMesh router to its default settings and re-establishing the mesh connection.

New features:
- New "Network" page to consolidate main network and Smart Home Master for simplified management.
- Supported MLO (Multi-Link Operation) backhaul.
*Currently, MLO backhaul can only be formed with the same model.

Bug Fixes and Enhancements:
- Fixed the UI issue in Chrome.
- Fixed client binding issues in Mesh scenarios.
- Enhanced input parameter handling techniques to improve data processing stability and system security.
- Enhance system access control mechanisms.
- Optimized Parental Control time scheduling for better management and reliability.
- Fixed an issue with the Wireless Scheduler to ensure proper functionality.

More over, MLO does not seem to work now with the Intel BE200 based WiFi 7 adapters -- only 5GHz band is available and not 2.4GHz+5GHz MLO previously.

Not a real problem though since 5GHz band speed is not slower than the 2.4GHz+5GHz MLO. Both have similar speed.

Sorry, 2.4GHz+5GHz MLO is still working. I need to change the settings because of the FW updates. The speed is similar to 5GHz only.

Now I need to explicitly enable MLO Fronthaul for Clients.

BTW, I am trying quite a few non-default wireless professional settings and they seem to be okay -- not make things worse for now. I will need to minitor.

For the specific combination of Asus TUF-BE6500 and Intel BE200, 2.4GHz + 5GHz MLO SSID is comparable to 5GHz SSID, not faster but not slower either.

For other combinations, MLO may well be slower.

In certain cases, MLO can be faster.

All in all, as of now, MLO does not provide real benefits for the clients in most cases. But it can be useful for wireless backhaul for Asus AImesh.

It should work.

Take note both TUF-BE6500 and ZenWiFi XD6 are dual band Asus routers, so this is not a good combination if you need to use wireless backhaul (no LAN ports in the rooms).

Full bar actually! She didn't have such problem with deco m5, only with the recent router changes (be710 and be6500). Hopefully mesh solves this !

Is that with mesh node or without ? If it's full bar without mesh node, then it's not a coverage issue. Try changing the router dns server to something else, Google DNS for example

Asus Global RT-BE82U, not available in Singapore yet.
Dual band BE6500 (no 6GHz band), five 2.5G ports, onne USB 3.2 port, not so sure which is the CPU (Broadcom quad core 2GHz), 1GB RAM,
https://www.asus.com/networking-iot-servers/wifi-routers/asus-wifi-routers/rt-be82u/techspec/

Asus China launch price is at RMB 1499, looks like not worth it, RT-BE86U (RMB 1699) and RT-BE88U (RMB2199) are better (RMB). TUF-BE6500 is of better value at RMB 799.
