Can you set either SIM 1 or SIM 2 to be 4G?
This is what most dual SIM phones are capable of.
You can set either one of the SIM to be 4G and the other will automatically be 2G and you set which one to use data?

Sim2 is only 2G.

Ah thanks - good point ! SIM2 only 2G makes it more irritating. Need to keep switching slots when travelling overseas

don't think so, think the SIM 2 slot of the Zenfone 2 is hardwired to have only 2G network since it labels '2G' on the SIM 2 slot, with the SIM 1 slot being labelled as '4G/3G'.

Trying out my new zenfone 2 which i got during the event yesterday.

1) The free view cover is quite annoying, which I just decided to change back to the original back cover. When I'm walking around, the phone thought I was swiping the view cover screen which is dam stupid. On the flash light when I'm moving around which drain quite a bit of battery just over a short time.

2) The picture taken are definitely better than my zenfone 6 (Like duh!). But realise there is too much noise for the pictures taken during HDR mode.

3) Fast charging is pretty good I will say, still indicate how many more minutes to full charge.

4) The zen motion which indicate a double shake to take a screenshot, shake the phone like for half a day liao, still no screenshot captured.

5) Double tap to sleep/wake phone is pretty good, because of their stupid design which they put the power button at the top, which made holding the phone and pressing the power button to lock quite hard.

Will try to update along my days of usage.

For now, I still think for $429 its still pretty much a nice mid range phone to use

what's the internal storage space for the 16/32 Gb? I think there's an asus fonepad indicating 16 gb but end up displaying 10+ gb space left in the phone, with asus saying the rest of the space went to os system.

can all this space be used for internal storage and apps download? last time my Samsung one say 10 gb space, but end up only 2 gb allocated to internal storage (downloading apps space) , ended up always tell me not enough memory

It says 4.69gb/16.00gb reserved. I guess around 11.31gb available for apps and etc

there is some info about how they forgot to off image optimization or something, and that without it the pics were clearer
