You mean for 2 gig of ram more. On one hand, usually don't multitask that much, in the other hand this is future proofing. But by 2016, more great phones maybe with new battery tech may come out. So best advise I give is: depends on your needs.

Do you like playing several high demand games at the same time and then put them in background, and hope that they are still there mid game when you return to it? Then get the 4gb.

If you don't play games much and do the above, then 2gb is more than enough. My 3gb Oneplus has 0.9gb left free with 201 user installed apps, with 35 running services/process in the background. I run the same apps on my Nexus 5 with 2gb ram, it ran fine - so that excess ram is just that, excess.

alright thanks for the advices!
dont really play high demand games.i guess the only reason i would want 4gb is to "future proof" it,in case future android updates start to use more memory..

planning on getting this phone, did some research but it isn't stated anywhere so have to try asking here instead:

does the basic model come with the low-lighting function as well? (Pixelmaster)

according to specs provided only the ZE551ML has this function..

Hope some kind soul can clarify on this! Thanks in advance! :)

wont recommend the 5'' model (ZE500CL)

if you are talking about ZE550CL, yes. there's low light mode.

perhaps the mid-tier model at least, considering i'm currently using note 3 with 3gb ram etc, wouldn't want it to feel like a 'downgrade' even after getting a new phone! :s13:

anyway thanks for your reply! :)

The low light mode is not particularly impressive either.
You're better off using the flash

Something that pleases me a lot about the zenfone2 is how fast Google map is able to locate my position. My previous note 3 took so long to lock on!

During the presentation, ASUS said that they have 5 satellite tracking your phone ( I clearly remember got PRC & Russian names). But I can't recall what the other company names / where they are from.

It's Glonass. Note 3 has it as well, but GPS is always a see your luck thing. Nothing special.

GNSS (US), Beidou (China), Glonass (Russian). At least these three world standards.

The idea is that with more standards that the phone accepts, the more satellites the phone can see. With more satellites, the faster the triangulation or lock on.

I have, occasionally (maybe 1 out of 15 times), but this seems to be a WhatsApp/Android problem. I had this prob on my Redmi Note LTE too.

Another one, is that the symbol page of the keyboard (the one with the "!", "?" etc., can'r be activated when I am responded to a WhatsApp message when the phone is still locked. When I unlock the phone first, then display and respond to the message, I can activate the keyboard-symbol page. Minor inconveniences, but they are inconveniences.
