upgraded without any issues. Not sure of storage bug but encountered the blank black screen during phone call for the first time. the screen display only shows up again after the call has ended. never had that problem while on version L. will have to search how to solve this.

There's an issue with the proximity sensor. Wiping cache partition does not help. Most likely will be fixed in the next firmware update.

Using it for the past week and no major issues. Proximity sensor still doesn't work during calls but other than that, exp has been smooth.

They took off the OTA file from the website due to this issue and most probably will post a new one soon.

Finally my beloved Zenfone 2 has been laid to rest. The last few days, the speaker, vibration and also the microphone has stopped working. No point sending for repairs anymore.

ZenUI Contacts Dialer now has setting to disable proximity sensor. So now using marshmallow with everything ok, minor inconvenience of screen on all the time during calls.

Anyone willing to pass me their spoilt zenfone 2. Need a replacemENT part. I'm not sure of the price to quote. But if it is acceptable, I will consider.

By the way, zenfone 2 ze550ml z008d is the model i need.

I'm not sure if the others do fit, but basically my power button is spoilt and cannot be pressed.

The phone is actually quite good, but the built is not as sturdy as it seem.


EDIT: - I got a replacement part. Thanks to a kind edmwer who is willing to part with his spoilt phone. I managed to repair my phone.
