Looking at the size of market for SG and the others, it's not likely that SG will be the priority. The original intention for SG as the first market is probably a 'safe move' to test market response. Now that the rest of the world is hyped up, I guess only a small number of phones will come over.

A silver lining though, the later we get the phone, the better it is. Let the first few batches of phone go through the some manufacturing and software fine-tuning. Not going to wait for this phone for now but might get one as a spare phone later in the year.

This weekend lazada is also having 15% discount for citibank Mastercard.

I placed the order already. After the discount it's around 420 SGD..

I feel its a good price and in line with oneplus one..

Thanks for the heads up, note that the ZE500ML is also available at $294 before discount, using the Mobile50 (only available using phone app)
It will be cheaper than buying from Asus Taiwan directly
but do note that it is a export set, no warranty

I decided to take the plunge and buy ZE500ML at $244

It is going for TWD 5,999.. being similarly price as zenfone 6

With the conversion and mark up, it will be retailing at $329 (unless there's some early bird discount), the difference will be $85.

as there's no warranty, hopefully my set is at tip top condition


ps: zenfone2 release date for India is 13apr, most likely it is around that date for Singapore. Likewise, only some models are being released

Yes the Huawei Mate 7 cost more but no battery drain like my Zenfone 6.

The asus export set can Support Singapore 4g network or not? I wish to buy but I scard network not same frequency as sg.
The $50 discount is very big

One thing about Zen 2 is, it's almost supports all 4G LTE bands.
