Yes may onward for public. Before that, it was made available at the launch event only, so whatever sets you see outside now are from resellers who have went to the event.

I may be wrong, but I don't think resellers managed to get any 4GB/64GB models. Only the 4GB/32GB models, which was also on sale during the product launch.

According to what I can find outline, the performance of z3560 (base processor) is still above the snapdragon 800.

Sent from Asus ASUS_Z00AD using GAGT

hmm but performance increase aint much... at least for my case. Im using Xperia Z1, its a snapdragon 800. Usually i wouldnt mind a midrange phone but I kinda realize that im running on adreno 330 which is pretty good already...

So seems only Z551 4GB, or nothing for me... my 2nd option is wait for oneplus two lol... or xperia z4...

Low profile launch is not an issue, what is more important is the specs ... is it worth to cross over ... what Z4 has that your current phone does not ... (Price vs Benefit)

you can go any major tech websites and see the Sony Z4 comments given ... you will get the very good idea how the public feels about this phone ...

How accurate is the GPS?

If never remember wrongly, Asus phones never really fared well in the GPS section.

The 551ML 2G variant is z3560.
The 551ML 4G variant is z3580...like Dell Venue 8 and Nokia N1 tab
The z3580 is rather impressive but with 4G, with Perform well

Anyone knows if there is really a need for 4GB RAM?

Still undecided if i should wait for the 4GB one...
I believe its best wait...many videos shows its with the 4G variant.
As I type, I uses the z3580 Dell Venue.
Daily is well...but I believe the exp will improve due to 4G.
More multi task or loading of images

realistically speaking, if u just use very simple apps, 2G should be enough, but if you to "future proof" your device, 4G RAM / 64 bit is the way to go (least you are planning to use your HP for two years)

an example is the debate is QHD display vs FHD, why Samsung S6, LG G3/G4, Meizu, Lenovo, XiaoMi go for it .. while other mainstream refuse to join (HTC, SONY, Huawei) .. just go check out the comments given for those non-QHD display ... it is not pretty ...

some people say you cannot tell the difference, i can tell you there is a difference, but the drawback is that display will suck your battery, so will you rather have a shorter battery vs better display? it is your choice

so if let me choose more RAM (if i can afford), i will take the more RAM / internal memory option - ALWAYS
