At what age did your parents let you go to and from school yourself?

From P3. Take bus and walked to school. Along the way need to cross 3 overhead bridges.

Primary school, take school bus with my sisters. Secondary school, take public bus. Schools were very far from home.

I remember primary 4, one Saturday ECA, missed the school bus. So walk home. Whole family plus bus driver all panic, hunt high and low for me. I realized as a kid, really give my parents a lot of unnecessary worries.

Pri 2. Walk 20m and cross traffic light reach sch gate already. I always envied those who got to take bus/public bus.
