Every time pass by their shop see very empty inside with a big showroom I know is unsustainable, not sure what is their business value proposition. Just sell laptop in the old way cannot work any more

I think they are hoping for angel investor to bail them out. Debt is probably in the tens of millions bah. They are finished, not credit worthy liao, no one will supply them. Their press statement is pure hopium/copium..

Another example of how the "12%-of-the-total-cost" rental kills a business? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Shd have just copy af and keep one showroom at suntech. Rest all do online.
Old mindset , expand gao gao till the rentals kills it. Everyone under cutting till there's little margins to live on

Normal in retail circles. Company get ambitious and overextend themselves. Pity the distributor who probably extend a lot of credit to them.
Rast time got this company Elmco, started in the west in JE, started expanding to old Funan, then spring a retail shop near main office plus another outpost in Jurong west.

Every month stock commitment with IPC very high, ACA also similar commitment. After no news liao

Challenger somehow still alive after so many years. Despite their high price, they scrap their rebate program during COVID pandemic.
Selling their crappy product under Valore still can hang on.
That one sooner or later will up lorry. Their stores now very empty except for the occasional boomer or Indian tourist.
