【新製品】オーディオテクニカ AT-HA90USB、AT-HA22TUBE|イヤホン・ヘッドホン専門店「e☆イヤホン」のBlog

e-Earphone's Ameba blog usually updates pricings for new product releases very fast, even faster than most news sites or Kakaku.com . Just saw shortly after ATH's japanese announcement on the 10/10, they alrdy update their retail pricing for HA22TUBE, at 39,800yen. The MSRP was set at 50,400yen, but due to how the open market pricing sys works in JP, as usual the actual pricing are set much lower.

I'm quite sure the HA22TUBE will be a gd addition and companion to yr current A2000X Art monitors, their inherent sig has alittle bit of dry texture to it, but with a valve tube amp added into the chain vocals shd turn out too be much more sweeter for yr case. I'm also on the lookout at the moment for a tube amp apart from the AT-HA5000, and the AT-HA22TUBE is def one of the usual suspects I'm considering atm as well.

And Nautilus speakers for you? :)

I heard the Ayonman is currently looking for a high-end DAC, don't think he needs any Nautilus speakers atm since hes already bend on getting those Harbeths liao. I think given his level, stuffs like Saya's Pure Speed UIA5200 or the TEAC AI-501DA should float his boat pretty well. I still don't know why he initially rejected my original suggestion of the Resonessence Labs Invicta Mirus awhile back though, i personally thought that was something originally created just for him.
:crazy::crazy:

Joe, perhaps you can consider all these below? All these have pretty rave reviews taken frm my recent japanese audio mags, hope it can be of some reference for you. (I don't think the Saya Pure Speed is DSD-enabled though, but not sure if that's really a priority for ya, since as far for myself concerned, so far I haven't even touched any DSD files yet even though my A8 supports it)

I actually gotten a W3000anv couple of months back when Stereo was running the sale. :o It's being driven by a Teac UD-501 now, am wondering if the HA22Tube can bring out the best of the cans. Using my A2000X at home now with the ican. :o this hobby is a black hole. :(

Agree with u that this hobby is a blardy black hole. Late last yr I was only aiming on getting the AD2000X, don´t know was which nice guy frm this thread pushed me into this black hole, in the end I was distracted and went to hoot the W5000 flagship instead.

i spend fooking a lot of moolah on media also, think of all the moolah gone jin emo. :o but then once put on the w3000anv i happi again.
my path was m50->a2000x->w3000anv now the m50 is used by the wifey to listen to tv when im on telecon in the study. a2000x and w3000anv split between home and office duties. :D

actually a used w5000 is quite reasonably priced if you are going to japan. i saw a few at the e-headphone shop at akiba and in pretty good condition. w3000anv prices are going thru the roof, better hoot one before it's too late.

Nbz, Invicta Mirus is a $6,000 DAC
Way too rich for my taste

Did had a listen at the TEAC UD-01
None of my group was impressed with it, despite the hype

So far have listened to Mytek and is heavily poisoned
Another DAC on my shortlist is the BMC Pure DAC
That one is definitely worth checking it out at X Audio

Will have to compare to my current Minimax Plus to hear how much actual improvement there are
But make no mistake; it's a great time to shop for a DAC

U may wish to consider Yulong DA8 also. My friend had both the Yulong and Mytek and he prefers Yulong and feel it is better both as DAC and as a headphone amp. He made the comparison mainly with Senn HD800 and Beyer T1.

The UD-501 really shines as a DSD decoder. As a normal DAC, there are better ones in the same price range. But for DSD, it's really hard to find a cheaper one w/ better sound quality. Currently I'm matching it w/ Soloist, really love the sound.

I'm interested in the BMC Pure DAC too, but feel it takes too much space on table. Would be great if it had a smaller footprint.

I really need to try the Yulong.

Have tried the Teac but need to give it another shot. The price is attractive.
