I'm okay with anyone willing to pop by with their non-ATH gears actually, but this meet is mostly created for and by ATH owners, so I think there's no need to start another dedicated thread for this. Do kindly add yrself to the list if u're interested to turn up!
No lah don't say that, what impose lol. The gears are all gonna be there, one more person tk and listen the avail ATH gears lying ard or come mingle with us, there's nothing bad or intruding abt that at all. As long as u're friendly to strangers like me and u don't harbour any hatred for ATH as a brand, u're of course very welcome to join us for this ATH meet.
Besides, I think I rem that u seem to be working for Sennheiser svc centre for yr sch attachment? I'm considered relatively new to most Sennheiser stuffs, so if u could bring a few stuffs down to let us try, I would be more than glad to tk up yr offer actually. ^ ^
Anyway there are also other forum members in here like Rickysio and Rubick who don't have any ATH gears currently iirc, but i believe they are still coming down to support the event. Yeah but the choice is ultimately yours though, will leave it up to you to decide.
No prob, Rubick it's alright. Anyway just exchanged a couple msgs with my ATH chairman/co-organiser, currently we have quite a few problems at hand cos due to my lousy connections/incompetence, i couldn't secure a good venue yet for hosting the ATH meet, despite that I went to recce quite a few pretty quiet cafes earlier this week during the evenings, but somehow the reviews on hungrygowhere and the actual spot ambience doesn't quite match up and is alittle noisier compared to what i read.
I think we need somewhere that can last/operate until 11pm or midnight, cos in btw i'm quite sure some of you would like to grab a bite so we will head for quick dinner first before we kickstart the event. Then there's also the issue of power points as well, so far all the cafes I checked they cannot provide any power points for us.
Worse come to worst, I will just postpone this meet till somewhere in the near future, when there's more ppl involved or we have a proper private venue to host it. But I will wait for my co-organiser to come in first, and see what he has to say before deciding.
@kenz Wah kenz you bought W3000ANV ah, gx gx on yr hoot. Damn power right, I consider the W3000ANV a more technical-performing woodie than ATH's W-series flagship W5000, as it corrected alot of flaws in the W5000 and is generally more well accepted with wider genre bandwidth. But unfortunately i think in terms of midrange coloration, I think the W5000 still bodes with my personal taste/listening preferences better. But of course in terms of looks the W3000ANV wins over W5000 for me.
@Rubick: lol I saw the Vorzuge thread liao, understood that yr one already arrived together along with those who MO-ed the amp with you. Too bad i can't join u guys tmrw cos not free, perhaps some other day bah got chance will arrange personally with you agn for coffee one day. ^ ^

No worries. Putting together a meet is always challenging.
There's a nice little place in orchard, The Hot Nob Cafe, rather quiet and private dining cafe.
There's a wide selection of food and beverage, and if the store permits maybe can book the place for the evening till 11.00 pm.
The food and atmosphere is nice and conducive for private meets for over 20 pax.
Maybe can check it out.
