Its good, but how good is subjective.

Buy @ Jaben, Lazada or Jaben @ Lazada.

Team stereo should carry.
However please do not soley rely on word of mouth
of recommendation, online reviews and
seeing others use it you also want.

Test it with your songs and I presume it's handphone
how well your phone can drive this headphone.
DAP should be no issue but majority don't carry one
as they feel not necessary.

Btw wrong forum should be in the headphones section.

Not worth the price for a boomy headphone but its your money...

Look for alternatives at headfi and go down stereo to try everything. Then go buy from Amazon at half the price

Unless you are urgent, you can try going to massdrop website and look for Hifiman HE-350.

Or you can try Sony MDR-7506 for about the same price range.

Sony store carries but I do not recommend Sony professional
line headphone to use with Handphone.
The impedence at 63 Ohms is really a killer for most handphone.

https://pro.sony.com/bbsc/ssr/product-MDR7506/

Need a mixer or amp to drive this headphone.
Can try, later your handphone battery runs out fast. :s13:
Tested and proven.

Closet is Sony latest hip headphone with various striking colors
good for teens and hipsters the mdr-100app at $249.

http://www.whathifi.com/sony/mdr-100aap/review

Currently got promo ongoing if TS want can check that also.
However Sony mid-range and cheap headphone/earpiece not all
are good performer.

if pairing with handphone.. get headphone amp/dac

Doubt TS got budget, the cheapest DAC is Sony PHA-1a at $399.
Rather just get a DAP like Sony Walkman A25 at $299.
Confirm can drive the ATH-M50X decently.

Oh sorry. Cause I never see anywhere TS mentioned he is pairing with a handphone.

So just recommend him something in the same price range.

right. cheaper and balanced sound.

Sound is subjective. But it depends on what you want to hear lor. If TS wants bass heavy headphones, then m50x is more suitable.

If he's like me and appreciate the highs and mids more, then m40x is more than worthy at half the price. Anyway the m40x really came through after some breaking in.
