Definitely too expensive plus it was too inconvenient for her

Until he reaches 90 years old :o

Anyone can be resurrected as long as Disney is willing to pay for them

I think the multiverse saga was too complicated

It required viewers to follow both their Disney plus MCU series and the movies as well, resulting in a lot of story holes for non Disney plus movie goers to scratch their heads at

The premises of Kang dynasty was good but the overall execution wasn't

It would still be nice to see how they wrap things up with Kang arc using Dr Doom though
Dunno how the House of Mouse go pick those actors who end up in controversies one. Totally screwed up the Kang plan.

The whole idea of Disney shows was so that certain shows that does not need to be a movie can be told in a drama format and also we know it drives traffic and subs to Disney+. Link to money making end of day.
Milk ah milk

I'm not against it as long as they make the tv series enjoyable

Some are good while most aren't

Wandervision, Loki, Moon knight, Dare devil reborn, what if...? Marvel zombies and Agatha all along were good while the rest wasn't

Watched iron heart 1/2 way lost interest

Not so interested in wonder man

The problem would have existed with or without Johnathan Majors

The direction was so messy -

1) Eternals
2) Shang Chi
3) Spiderman No Way Home
4) Dr Strange and the Multiverse of Madness
5) Thor Love and Thunder
6) Wakanda Forever
7) Ant man & the Wasp Quantumania
8) GOTG vol.3
9) The Marvels
10) Deadpool & Wolverine
11) Captain America Brave New World
12) Thunderbolts
13) Fantastic Four First Steps
14) Spiderman Brand New Day

They released 14 movies related to the multiverse saga and yet I can't feel the hype for it at all...

To be fair, I was let down by Ant man & the Wasp Quantumania but least the council of Kang extra ending got me hyped up a little bit other than that I really didn't feel that the multiverse saga was going anywhere at all

It was only after they brought in RDJ as Dr Doom and start pushing out the narrative from Fantastic Four First Steps that I start to feel the hype again

For better or for worst, Disney did the right thing to change the direction even if if meant for us having to wait for it to happen...

In the mean time, just enjoy Spiderman brand new day first!!

One of the things that was really successful was that alot of the Infinity saga post credit scenes led to the big bad, so you know who's the endgame and why everything is happening. The multiverse saga had alot less of this type of post credit scenes ( to be fair they were mostly directed toward Kang since he was supposed to be that dude.)

I watched zero of the movies in that list. Only clicked on the recaps for Deadpool & Wolverine and The Thunderbolts. Neither of which made me interested enough to want to check out the movies. The whole multiverse thing isn't something the general public is interested in. It's like the Planescape setting in AD&D isn't that popular. And people tend to buy Avengers comics rather than Eternals comics.

Marvel need to try another genre..

Time to reboot Howard the Duck, or introduce idiotic Groo the Wanderer.

You're right about them using post credit scenes effectively during the infinity war saga but honestly speaking even if they didn't change the main villian from dr doom to kang, there still wasn't enough post credit scenes that marketed about kang dynasty at all.

In someways, they kick started the entire multiverse interest with spiderman far from home and it definitely gotten some attention for sure just that Disney gotten too commercialized with Disney plus and the entire multiverse saga got too messy there after.

Eternals was introduced as an alternative to the Xmen. Honestly speaking, despite the woke elements features in the movie, I felt that it was one of the better movies in the multiverse saga. It was too bad that it didn't resonate well with the general audience. You know what they say, go woke go broke.

Did you know anyone who actually bought the Eternals comic book? It was more like a Z Lister. That film had more problems than woke. Looked like the 80s made for tv version of life action superheroes.

Personally I felt the movie was coherent, had decent character build up for some to most of the eternal members. Overall it transition from a slow burn who dunnit story telling into a full fledge fight with a few main positive twist or two.

I can't in my good conscience say that this was a bad movie in my personal opinion. All I can say is that it really felt different from your usual MCU movies. How should I put it? It felt like Prometheus (the alien movie)..?

Disney tried to introduce celestials and eternals roles as a form of origin within MCU, kinda like how Prometheus was trying to create an aliens origin.

Anyway, good to see that we have different views otherwise it will be too boring. I guess Disney wanted something different, tried something different but unfortunately it didn't produce the results they wanted.

‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Gears Up For Return With Second-Biggest Trailer Launch In History

The Avengers are back, and so is the buzz. After racking up 503 million views in 24 hours, the first trailer for Avengers: Doomsday is now the second most-viewed trailer launch in history, landing behind fellow Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) outing Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which collected 719 million views within the same time frame.

The latter would later spin another milestone, becoming the first film trailer to surpass the 1.1 billion mark in four days. 2024’s Deadpool and Wolverine was the previous record holder and currently sits in third place, with its Super Bowl teaser scoring 365 million views. In comparison, the trailer for Avengers: Endgame amassed 289 million views in one day, and the almost-double views bodes well for the directors Joe and Anthony Russo’s first lead MCU feature since 2019. The pair is directing from a script by Michael Waldron and Stephen McFeely, and will helm its 2027 sequel, Secret Wars.

The marketing for Avengers: Doomsday can be traced back to last December with the rollout of four teaser clips, culminating in the official trailer that assembles the entire MCU, including the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, and Thunderbolts (aka the New Avengers). Naturally, the list of returning cast is extensive, and all of the stars will reprise their respective roles, from Patrick Stewart’s Professor Xavier and Simu Liu’s Shang-Chi to Channing Tatum’s Gambit from Deadpool & Wolverine. Robert Downey Jr. is also back, this time as primary antagonist Doctor Doom, and the reappearance of Chris Evans’ Captain America has sparked speculation about his true identity (Hydra Cap from an alternate universe, perhaps?).

Avengers: Doomsday

The 39th instalment in the MCU is set for theatrical release on 18 December, the same day as Warner Bros.’ Dune: Part III and a few months after Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Both comic book movies are expected to be among the year’s biggest releases, before Secret Wars steps in to conclude Phase Six of the MCU on 17 December 2027.
