The only reason to shift is that now prudential loads the customer with additional premiums if they make claims on their shield plan. U may pay up to 400% of premiums as compared to what others paythe benefits and features of the AXA shield and the Prushield are very similar for private plans. Any reasons to switch from PruShield Premier A to AXA Shield Plan A?
Honestly 365 post is a marketing tool. Who would be able enjoy constant readmissions for the same sickness for one whole year
Insurance is like that one ma... How many people forsee themselves dying in the next 10 years? But we still buy term insurance to cover... Got extra always better than no extra... Just don't buy ilp can liao..Yes. sounds good and all, but few people will actually need to use the extra coverage.

Usually if 1 company has a solutions to the problem of the insurer, the rest will adopt also. Why? Cause the product team circle is very small in sg. As they move around, they'll also bring the ideas from previous company to the nextyeah, i foresee other insurance brands will make the same move soon. in that case, i'll stick with pru since no claims.

For shield plan can switch all you want bah, since the medisave will be prorated however do take into consideration about the waiting period and also your existing conditions if any.
I think waiting period is as important just that alot of people they might be unaware. Eg for females, the coverage for pregnancy complications can be have a waiting period of 270days and ci coverage the usual 90days

Planning to get a B1 plan for my Dad but he is rejected by Ntuc because he got CAD and High BP. Any guru advice which insurers that are likely to accept based on his current conditions?

You can look for an IFA and tell them to submit to all insurance companies, then see which accept. I did this for my gf who had tb and appendicitis. Believe there's 1 or 2 IFA's around the forum if you lazy to find outside.
