Yes. The ATA can be used to interface with the PSTN.

I had switch to siptel

So I had saved a total of 91 per month.

I saw some tiong routers supporting this.

I'm using the old Linksys SPA3102 and SPA2102 to do the interfacing. Myvsetup is Starhub -> ONT -> SPAx102 -> SPAx102 -> physical Cisco phone. Phone's SIP profile configured on FreePBX. The x in the SPA is either 3102 or 2102. Basically is configure and forget. The only negative thing about the SPA devices is there's no way to backup the configurations.

Served me well for more than 10 years. The only thing I changed was the power adapter which blew.

I have on simple Prolink 4G router that has RJ11. Maybe i should try it.

IMHO.
It is Prolink PRN3006L. I connected a analog telephone before and it worked.
I was reading a bit, seems to plug in the output of the Prolink to the Linksys FXO (Line) port.
