Aztech DSL7000GRV router from Singtel

Today I called the CS and TS again. Both denied to give the 7002. Said only for CEE signup only (200 Mbps).

u won't get the 7002 if u just ask for a replacement with your existing router.
u can get the replacement with 7002 only when your existing router has a problem. so try asking when your existing router has problem...

Hi, I tried enabling the SAMBA server but upon clicking on my AZTECH in network, it requested both username and password. I've tried my PC log in, router log in but to no success. Does anyone have any idea?

That's the limit of the pace modem, using an uncongested channel. When I received the speedboost to 200mbps, the wireless speed was capped at 70-80 Mbp with the pace modem. After I got it changed to the 7002, I had 200-220 mbp even for wireless.

For You, Dun go into such advanced stuff, just create a homegroup, and check the guest box and plug in your USB SDD/HDD/Normal USB

hi i am also on singtel 200mbps using aztech 7002, my max wireless speed even when near the router is only 130+ using 5ghz 300mbps wifi card.

may i know how u manage to get 200-220 using wireless? u using 3t3r wifi card/usb adapter?

I'm on MBP. i tested immediately after setup was done.. even if I'm in my bedroom where router is in living room, 1 wall apart, i'm doing 150-160.. check ur channel if anyone else is using it..

i am using the 161 channel, only person using. mine in the bedroom same as near router abt 130plus, guess could be mbp is using ac wifi card which has 3 antennas

Hi, does anyone know if i am using aztech 7000 modem for my singtel fibre, can i still use my nokia lumia 8000 to tap on to the wifi service? I dont have any issue with my current 2 wire modem but previously i am using the old aztech modem and i had such issue. Can anyone advise me??

Yes you can, it works for any compactible Wifi Device, actually any wifi device at all lol. And Aztech has really improved a lot I must say over the years. The first few routers were damn sian but now they are OP man

then search for port forwarding and volia there you go u can start your server
