Using 7002GRV since last saturday
I enabled dual band and seems to be working fine
Thinking i use some devices on 2.4 G and some devices on 5G.

But yesterday all my devices on the 2.4 Band start to disconnect and reconnect like mad and the PC (wireless) in living room on the 2.4 will lose connection very easily when streaming videos and very hard to reconnect back when the connection finally lost.

The 5G however works fine and do not experience this at all. It is stable and relatively fast.

Is there a known issue with this model? would turning off 5G completely help to resolve this? Or is it any other reason?

Appreciate any help.

I am also experiencing this intermittent dropping of wifi signal with 7002GRV which was also installed last Saturday. My problem is even worst as I got it for both band. Furthermore, I find that the signal strength is even worst than the 2wire wireless router used for my previous ADSL line. Tried calling singtel help line but of no avail.

Good to when i am not alone...
It's frustrating becos not all devices are 5Ghz so LL have to on the 2.4Ghz.
I agree the strength is worse (using the PACE router previously). Now i go toilet, the signal is ZERO wifi bar used to have at least 1 bar.

Will turning off the 5Ghz band completely and only use 2.4 wireless help?

What did the Singtel CS say?

The first call to them, the CSO say he will "refresh" the account and ask me to monitor, well I have monitored for 2 days and still the same.
Tonight, they will call me tonight to help me "troubleshoot"; frankly I do not know how they are going to troubleshoot an intermittent issue remotely... if they are only asking to fix a bandwidth or channel, been there done that, not going to resolve the problem.
If I am not the only one facing this problem, I even doubt changing a new set will resolve the problem.....

By the way, are you also using the digital voice; mine line is really bad after switching from analog; a lot of static.....

Update:
As usual, singtel fails to deliver, never receive the call.....give up.....

Singtel CS is brilliant.
Last time long ago, my MIO cannot work suddenly den they asked me to switch off the PACE router and see if the MIO works now.

I was flabbergasted. so i asked can MIO work without internet? afterall its IPTV. He assures me can.......

Btw, i did not switch to the digital line. i still am on the analog becos so i can connect to a fax machine

Hi all. Just got my DSL7002GRV-(s) installed today.

I am currently on the 200Mbps plan, and the router is currently in the living room. I do not plan to use cable (due to need trunking) so I would like to seek advice on how to achieve the best speed for my desktop computer (which is not in the living room.) I understand using homeplug would solve the problem but I know the speed isn't that fantastic.

Are u sure it is 7002?
Actually, if sign 200Mbps should go for M1 as they are cheaper same same like $29/mth with AC router. Singtel 200Mbps cost more and no AC router. If want to sign Singtel at least 300M and above to get Aztech AC router. Singtel 300M is same same price as M1 and also AC router. Sometime must do research before signing up.

Yes but only for 300Mbps and above. The good about M1 is 200M is $10 cheaper every month and got AC router. I wanted to hop to M1 next year but worry of open net delay the activation of port 2. Now could not decide. Actually 200Mbps is enough.
