You are wrong Flight from BKK are quite common they conduct spot check due to high chances of drugs. I've kana 3 yrs continues in a roll when touched down the whole flight passengers will need to go through a custom check before can proceed to clear Immigration. But so far even i carry the pork floss with me on numbers of occasions so far no issue. I think so long the quantity is not too much is okay.

Ehhh. Depends ba. I have been flying quite often every year but not once did I kena check before. Probably if carrying too much things then possibility of getting stop is higher.

I think Semiret is referring to the temporary spot checks which is for certain aircrafts arriving into Singapore. After you have walked through airbridge, once u step into the airport, u would be directed by the officers to go through the scan. Everyone have to go through the scan. Not selected people. They would make sure everyone has gone through the scan, to scan your hand carry, before you can proceed to make your way to the immigration area to scan your passport ...

Yes Dede, that was what i mean. All hand carry have to go through scan and body goes through metal detector gate as well. I guess BKK is a high risk for drug and weapon traffics.

These are the 100% checks conducted at the arrival gate, unlike those routine just after the baggage belts. I guess they are conducted more for drug enforcement or anti-terrorism than for customs tax because even transit passengers are screened.

Every time I go Bangkok, I brought mix in a carton and instant noodle, check in. Never have a problem. Hang carry may be a problem.

How long you planning to go Khao Yai? If just for day trip, can recommend the taxi service on Thai national parks. 3500thb for mpv, fuel already included

They do offer charter for 3d2n as well, but just make sure your hotel (if planning to stay within Khao Yai) is within service area. it's 10000thb for 3d2n. I only hired for day trip so can't say about the longer charters but personally did not have any issues during the day trip
