Finally, mine just arrived today.
Am charging it right now.

Ordered it on 1st Aug, package left B&N on 4 Aug, arrived comgateway on 7 Aug.
Package then left comgateway on 8 Aug, and arrived today (13 Aug).

For those wondering how much is shipping:
(i used comgateway with the 3-5 days express delivery option)

By the way, I bought the Nook simpletouch with glow, and 1 casing.
So if you are only buying just the device and not any casing, then shipping will be cheaper.
The 6-8 days shipping option is about 2 to 3 USD cheaper than the option I chose (3 to 5 days).

I bought mine from barnes & noble's website. Ordered it together with my nook.

There's also some nook cases being sold on "qoo10" (the old gmarket)'s website too.

I think the best place would still be B&N in my opinion. bought my silicone frame tgt with the Nookglow. Still enjoying it.

Been reading a lot more books on my Nook than the physical copies. Such a time and space saver.

I purchase my first nook simple touch, plus cover and light from B&N. I didn't read about using comgateway earlier and went with borderlinx. I wanted the glow light but I'm afraid that there will be light leak as the surface is much more fragile.

Still delivering my items from B&N to borderlinx. I think I can expect to be over-charged for my items after seeing reviews on borderlinx.

I'm already charged for 20USD for a stella light! It's... crazy, judging from the fact that it's a small item and the box is probably big.

Good to be in the Nook club.

I guess I'm not as lucky as you. I purchased mine on 17 and it just reach borderlinx this morning. Not only that, they are holding extra total amount to my credit card for some reason. They have billed me the ones they have shipped but is still holding on another 100% for some reason.

I'm wondering if you are getting the same issue?

Did you use the concierge service provided by borderlinx?
They will hold additional $ if u use that service.
Other than that, on top of the 139 for the nook and oregon sales tax. It went smooth.
Cost around 20 bucks for shipping to Singapore by Borderlinx.
I signed up for the free shipping from B and N to the Borderlinx suite.

Nope, I didn't use the concierge service as they accepted my credit card. Apparently, it's B&N that was holding additional $$ for some weird reason. They double charged me, had to chat with them to get them to cancel the additional.

Yep, I used the free express shipping from B&N too but they split up my package, which is weird.

Oh, is the simple touch okay without the anti-glare protector?

Me and my friend buying 1 each, so a total of 2. Do u think it's better to combine the shipment or separate?

What I think is that its better to combine because a seperate shipment might have double shipping flat rate from CGW.

My total declared amt would be USD$398.

I'm trying to do some culculations nw. Will update once done.

Edit: Wah.. damn confusing... not sure 400$ gst threshold is USD or SGD, and whether it includes CGW shipping or not... Any advice?

How long does it take for your nook to leave for delivery? I ordered @ 10am @ 270812 EST then now still haven sent for delivery... nw is 7am @ 290812 EST.

I hope they send it out soon because I'm not in SG, my friend will be collecting for me and meeting me @ 13th nx mth... Hope the thing comes b4 the flight....

Just include GST and take the minimum weight cos the NST is lighter than that. Guestimate is around S$15 or more.
