Ya, Superman at the start want to convince Batman to help him though Batman let his bloodlust get ahead liao.

Maybe too used to Grant Gustin's Flash, BvS's flash with a stubble feels weird lol. And anyone can tell me what was that cube thingie used to form Cyborg's body?

Overall this movie not bad la; dun bother too much with the critics' review.

the cube is implied to be a motherbox from apokolips, planet of darkseid.

Lex should be all along botak. But in the movie only in the end then botak.
The timeline of the characters all just don't seem to be right.

this is lex luthor jr, not the lex luthor that everybody knows.

superman weakness is his stupidity. ppl weaker than him always manage to pose threat to him. when in doubt always fight from distance and observe got kryptonite or not andhe should be fight awhile, go back to sun recharge then come back fight again but he always want to save this save that, he nvr think if he die all effort wasted anyway, no point in him sacrificing himself.

because superman is good boy scout. just omagine him as the captain america of DC, everything also wanna do good, always believe in people yada yada, thats why some people find him boring. and thats why batman is confident that he will always win superman, because he knows that superman will always hold his punches and be fair and morally upright, where else batman isnt afraid to beat him 3/4 to death and use dirty tactics.

Can explain more about how the original BVS universe is like? Not so familiar with it

In BvS universe the setting ish not so dark one. This version the Batman like got personal vendetta against Superman like that and not just simply distrust and like aiming to kill him like that.

Beside the focus should be the conflicts and the mistrust between B and S, not like moobie still got Wonderman got Doomsday very extra stealing the limelight.

its just an adaptation, not a panel by panel shot of the comic universe mah

imo i feel bats didn't like supes initially is because of what is being explained in the movie, that he feels that supes doesnt know the consequences of his actions even though he is actually struggling with it, and that just because he got superpowers he can do anything he want.

actually there is a prequel comic to the bvs movie, and it was implied that bats is abit jealous of supes because bats has to work very hard to get to where he is while supes is born with it and doesnt have to work for it.

besides at the end of the movie, can tell that bats still doesnt trust supes, and that he knows that supes will come back because of the vision that flash showed him. hence he will be focusing on finding the rest of the metahumans in order to prepare for darkseid and eventually supes.

But then it's not really clear why superman wants batman to stop being batman.

i think because he sees bats as someone dangerous who takes the law into his own hand as the judge, jury, and executioner. and that the law in gotham isnt doing anything to stop him. so maybe he sees himself as someone who should stop bats.
