That why many superheroes fansee ish more critical with all the flaws as they worry such trend will come to a sudden full stop and become a drought again once they release a few lousy one that score poorly in box office. So they want to make sure all the superheroes moobie to be perfect and can do well in box office mah. :(

Starting of the movie, when the city is in chaos, whats happening?

The final fight in Man of Steel, when Superman is fighting General Zod and his alien army. Shown from the perspective of Bruce Wayne.

superman fighting a villain...in the process his powers devastated the whole city?

To be fair the devastation ish not result from the fight or superman power alone, if you watch MoS you will know it was more due to the fact that the alien ish trying to terraform earth for themselves so that ish the real reason that causes all the damage lah. But this version of batman a bit IMH forget take medicine type so just blame everything on superman. :(

but wouldnt that feel so episodic? and why should batman only get angry when some of the prisoners are released and not when Superman revealed himself and caused massive destruction in metropolis? superman's arrival heralded the era of extraterrestrials and batman isnt sure that he can trust superman to stay on the side of humans. and how is a batman standalone movie going to continue without the effects and repercussions of suddenly having known that there are aliens out there?

anyway suicide squad will take place before BvS, so if anything goes, batman doesnt care about those villains under amanda waller anymore unless they go rogue.
Actually in this case it can be written that batman is angry at superman for metropolis/wayne enterprise collapse, in addition to the escaped prisoners lah. Then in batman v superman, can show wayne enterprise collapse flashback and also bruce can comment about superman letting loose some prisoners when he fought with doomsday.

I wouldnt say it will feel episodic if the stories are still standalone. Deadshot/Croc will still get arrested in this standalone batman movie, then in SS they will still be recruited for the team as per normal. Scarecrow also escaped in Batman Begins but who care? As long as the main villain (ra's al ghul) lose then the audience is satisfied liao. If you feel it is episodic then what about Batman v Superman we have now? Flash dream or those metahuman files plot were presented right in the middle of the movie and everyone has no idea what Flash is talking about even after the movie.

Even Nolan also tease the joker after the main story (with Ducard and scarecrow) ended in Batman Begins, as he doesn't want joker to take away the focus of the movie. Imagine if Gordon show the joker card in the middle of Batman Begin, the audience may thought joker is link to the main plot and wait for him to appear during the ending climax. look at the Thor pool scene in Age of Ultron...it also left a lot of people confused and disrupt the main story flow.

Not just Marvel and Nolan. Fox also tease future X-Men movies with post credit scene. Sony also got post credit scene in amazing spiderman.

Yet to watch the movie but just reading all the reviews including those who said the movie is good makes me think I will be wasting money.

It's understandable that WB wants to catch up with Disney given Marvel's success but WB should have done this properly and slowly.

Instead it's so obvious they are rushing, trying to pack too many things at one go, jumping the gun.

They have a lousy history of making DC movies. The only DC movies that were truly great were the Nolan's Batman trilogy. They changed actors for superman and batman like they change clothes. No proper continuity and even the tv-verse actors are different from the film versions unlike Marvel's. Just like their DC comics. Constant rebooting and retconning.

And seriously? First JLA movie already Darkseid as villian? Any other villian after that will pale in comparison for JLA2

They should take a leaf from their DC tv series. At least the tv series built the characters up slowly.
