Hvnt watch ... Nt good ah?

haven't watched too but those who watched said it was bad. one of them, her SO snored during the show. luckily with all the fighting, no one can hear his snoring haha

but the world wide box office hit new record leh..... so how?

This can be explained through many factors. One of it being that in March there's no other genuine blockbuster shows at the theatres to compete with them. If they had shown this in June, it may be a different story.

Likewise, one cannot deny there is a lot of hype about this show.

Take Marvel's Antman for instance, it's probably the weakest of all the Marvel films and yet it did decently in box office. That doesn't mean it's a fantastic movie.

Likewise there are plenty of cult movies out there which did poorly at the box office initially but garnered their own fan base subsequently.

Find out for yourself. You can't trust reviews least of all the biased word of anyone in here based on quality of the posts. To me it was a great flick in that it was simply entertaining. If you want an Oscar winner, from DC and Zack Snyder, you're out of your mind. But a reimagining of classic comic Batman (brutal anger and revenge, none of this ****yfied Bruce Wayne in love ****) and visceral action that recreated the conflict without having to rip off Miller too much. Its fantastic choice atm until the next one.

Nothing wrong, many already predicted that the moobie even if really become a disappointment for fansee will still hit record or at least targeted box office. No one, at least not those professional critics, actually predicted that the moobie will lose $$$.

Ish the same as gaming nowadays, many games that ish a disappointment to fansee will still end up making record sales one especially those that the brand or the name still sell. The recent example ish MSGVPP, so many kpkb about the unfinished end-game, bugs, plot holes, hate konami wish they go and die etc but the game still end up one of the top sellers everywhere at release mah.

It just made history at the box office despite "poor" reviews. If box office success isn't a clear basic indication then what isn't working according to you? Competition is a good thing. Diverse and successful superhero movies means people stay interested. BvS has its flaws just like any other movie. I'll surmise by saying BvS actually made me wanna watch it again in theaters after a first viewing. I thought Avengers was pretty bleh. Very jumbled and no tension for the most of it, they're the only Marvel films (with the rest of the origin movies) I haven't felt like watching more than twice (once in theaters and once on Bluray). Huge fan of all the Nolan-verse Batman's but Rises fell a bit flat at points. You want DCEU to follow Marvel's fun, dry-humor, hand-holding approach to comicbook movies where everything is explained clearly to the audience?

What are you talking about Nolan batman trilogy is deep in a good way and is nothing like Batman v Superman at all, which is confusing and messy plotholes that doesnt make sense. Dont pretend this movie is like some deep thinking movies like inception leh.

- how come Superman can know when Lois Lane got danger and save her in time (eg fall off building) but he cant save Martha Kent when she got kidnapped?
- why Batman plant the tracking device on the trailer yet still destroy so much of that vehicle and risk destroying the device itself? Why cannot plant liao then stealth follow them?
- what is Lex doing with the metahuman research?
- why does Wonder Woman want to take photo from Lex Luthor, and what was she plannig to do with it? How does she know he got her photo?
- Lex Luthor detest Superman because he is an alien and he could be dangerous. Then why does he create Doomsday, who's dangerous to mankind too?
- what is Lex Luthor's plan for Doomsday if and after Doomsday kill superman?
- how come Bruce Wayne spare Superman after Superman shouted Martha? I know bruce wayne mother is also Martha, but even if thats the case why still spare him? He said to Alfred "if we even believe there is even a 1 percent chance he is our enemy, we have to take it as an absolute certainty and we have to destroy him." But because he got a mother same name as his, the 1 percent chance drop to 0 liao?
- why nobody smell the urine piss in the jar in the court?
- what is the scene of Clarke Kent and his father for? To make ppl more emotional invest in Clarke Kent?
- Lex Luthor got the kryptonite. Why he want to trick Batman to steal and attack Superman with it? Why he cant do it himself with his goons?
- why is the world engine lying at the bottom of the ocean for so long? Alien tech stuffs nobody including Superman bother to go and dug that out
- why superman stop batman from chasing those goons? He know batman is in a car chase with guns. But he cannot help bruce with those armed goons then warn batman after?
- superman got xray vision, flight, super strength, super speed. He cannot use them to go save martha kent during the one hour limit?
- how does lois lane suddenly know the spear is needed to kill doomsday?

There are many more.

Tiagong sinkie can relate to this as it ish a sinkie guy trait to once have wifu ish no more parent.

That why many cases of sinkie sons dumping their parents cause their wifu no like.

alot of martial art actions and karate chops.

really show case how powerful is batman. better then the previous batman trilogy.

the show is so bad.....it has to use doomsday story arch to "shock fans" that superman died...but people familiar will know the ending will be superman died

maybe chris nolan will take over the directing responsibility since batman will be the main figure and that superman is no more

waiting for the evil superman story arch (or alternative superman) to materialize

but it seems there is no superman movie in planning now......

just a decent story without so many loopholes in the plot
