LOL...at least i won't...I saw Star Wars twice and Avengers thrice.

Not way am i going to cinema to waste my 2.5 hours again on BvS even if it is free.

if there is a uncut or director's cut version or extended version i might buy the blu-ray.

It will never be a 'failure' going by brand name and marketing alone but i don't think it will ever enter the hall of fame of all time top grossing films....

like i said, many of the top grossing films of all time were due to repeated viewings and i just can't fathom anyone would wanna spend their 2.5 hours watching BvS again.
There are many who find this film good, why not? I find it good too but I'm not someone who will watch a movie in cinema twice, no matter how good.

Like I said, I wouldn't equate them to the typical minor plot holes in other movies, considering some of them are related to the characters' core motives. But if you insist they are similar and thus is nitpicking, and that excuses the weak plot, then I rest my case :o

Is that all to you? Its just one aspect of entertainment to me. I would've taken them seriously as well and focus on them if there wasn't anything left that's redeemable but as I've said. :s13:

imo this is like the empire strikes back of the star wars trilogy.

when it first came out, empire was criticized damn badly by movie critics. but ask any star wars fans today and they will tell you empire was their favourite.

As if the theatrical cut is not long enough, u wanna watch an even longer version?

the problem of BvS is not that it's too short...at least 30minutes of scenes can be cut from the version we've seen....and if you think a longer version will make it better, then that's really screwed up.

Case in point, the uncut extended version of LOTR maybe a good fanservices for fans and nerds that want everything middleearth but it is actually lazy film editing.

The idea of film editing is to cut out the unneccessary exposition so that a movie can be evenly paced and 'flow' better.....

There's a reason why more movies is between 90 - 120 minutes and it's because that's the average time frame a human attention span can sustain when consuming a non-interactive media (video games are different)..

the theatrical cut is already 30minutes is already overly long....another longer R-rated cut is gonna be suicide....especially for such a badly edited film.

imo i feel that one problem with Marvel is that they aren't addressing the alien problem.

they had an chitauri invasion from outer space and then what happens for the next few films? nothing. at least tony stark is trying to do something about it though he failed. fail already then never continue or pursue the problem again.

the rest of them and the world just carry on like nothing happened, still can fight amongst themselves.

not a good example but they did in the Agents of Shield TV shows....

also the Chitauri invasion of new york is but a part of a larger plot of Thanos...that is going to happen in Infinity War...

Empire strikes back didn't commit any of these cardinal sins of filmmaking and scripting that i mentioned in my previous post..

http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/100497050-post650.html

but it was still critically panned. my point is that dont care what the critics say, just watch it. any questions after the show, think or ponder about it. empire strikes back is thought provoking and BvS is thought provoking as well.

at least for me.

LOL...unless another person is doing the editing cuts...i don't think a director's cut..AKA Zack Snyder's alternate cut of the movie will be any assuring in terms of quality....
