Which is the best R9 280X card? I would like to get one with BF4 package.

MSI $479

Powercolor $459

Gigabyte $459

Sapphire $468

Asus too expensive to consider.

With bf4?

MSI,

A little bit louder but slightly efficient cooler Gigabyte.

Powercolor is a bit out of the question unless you are on super tight budget. The core clock speed is terrible. UNLESS you are talking about the Turbo Duo then slightly different.

Sapphire no ba, with that 2 years warranty for NOW, not worth it for that price.

MSI - Two fans, slightly less cooler and slightly more quieter than Gigabyte

Powercolor - Why get this when there's Gigabyte for the same price??

Gigabyte - Three fans, industrial design. I'd get this if my casing had no window

Sapphire - Won't buy because warranty still 2 years

So the question will be is MSI worth the extra $40 over the gigabyte?

Don't care much for sound.

Also, can a 650W PSU handle this card?

650 sure enough but if you like me put case in table beside might probably need to consider the noise issue . I was like you never consider then now regretting hahaha .

I was reading some reviews and yah it is loud but is the MSI really a lot softer than gigabyte? Some said since the firmware upgrade, gigabyte is quieter. Have you upgraded yours?

As for the 650W PSU, what if I were to run 2 of these 280x. Will it be more than enough?

Thanks guys!

Hooted a gigabyte R9 280X. Tradepac was the most expensive amongst all the shops I went to. Wonder why people recommend them. They act like don't care for business and open prices the highest.

Of course. As usual, he stare at computer and start clicking away.... then don't even bother to answer me after 5 minutes waiting. Then he said cannot.

Another customer beside me also get treated like that. And they were not all that busy.

This is the same experience I had when I tried to buy my system from them 1 month ago. In the end, didn't bother. I would rather be treated with respect than save $2. And they were also more expensive than the shop 3 units to the right.

1) You never bargain

2) They didn't like your face
