Asian tend to have wider feet. That why I don't see myself buying running shoes from Nike and Adidas

Unless u r training to run a half marathon and above. Always get a running shoes as light as possible. That is less than 240g.

Personally i find 2 running shoes are quite good for walking although they are not considered light weight

New balance 1080 and asics gel Nimbus. Both models have 2E and 4E version.

I am wearing Hoka Bondi 7 (among other brands of shoes). I use it for walking, not running.
I don't like Adidas because they do not make 2E shoes.
I don't like Nike because one pair of Nike shoes that I wore malfunctioned (the adhesive failed and whole outer sole separated) while I was sprinting in IPPT test and I went flying to the ground.

Hi, I am a firm supporter of Asics and its Nimbus collection. There is no need to go for the latest in the collection (in my opinion) and there are usually discounts provided for the earlier series e.g.

Any Nike running shoes with ZoomX.

Thank me later.

( make sure it's zoomx, not air zoom or whatever zoom, good one is the Nike Invincible )

Buy from Taobao.
$15

Spoil then change

what is the best? so many good running shoes in the market, so many quality brands with so many models for various purposes. do you run regularly, at what pace, what is your usual running distance (marathon running, half marathon, 10km, 5km, etc), what kind of intensity, or you buy just to walk?

Adidas, Altra, Asics, Brooks, Diadora, Hoka, Mizuno, New Balance, Nike, On, Puma, Salomon, Saucony, Skechers, Topo, Tracksmith, 361, Qiaodan, xtep, etc

One man's poison is another man's meat. Understand your need and feet's preference, try them out before buying. Have fun testing them out.

mine
china brands: BMAI必迈, XTEP特步, QIAODAN乔丹
qiaodan feiying pb3.0 is really good, somewhere in between Adidas Adios Pro 3 & Takumi Sen 9, both i have run in before as well. Current marathon world record holder Kevin Kiptum signed a deal with qiaodan early last year only to give up after nike came in.

Depends on what you looking for.

Cushion type for slow runs/recovery pace.

For daily training, depending on your preference & your pace. Usually, i will recommend new balance fuel cell rebel or asics novablast.

The best

NIke carbon plated for speed - alphafly / vaporfly

Asics Nimbus for cushioning - better than Bondi

Asics Kayano for all rounder

don't bother with the rest

Good recommendation if wanna cheaper options. Can go bilibili to search for reviews. Their running community are veri active in reviewing also.
