Suggest you use first night to go Chit Lom BTS and go to the Big C nearby to shop for necessities and grab boxes. They close on average 11.30pm nightly. Another option is Tesco about 500m from National Stadium BTS and they close around 11pm.

Siam Discovery is having clearance sales as its tenants moving to Siam Centre.

Terminal 21 and Central is having 30-50% off on most branded luggage. If dont care and have low budget for luggage like 1600baht, plenty to choose from at MBK or JJ Market. Any lower budget and you will have to bargain like a pro.

Oh yes, it costs 10baht to weigh lugagge at their airport so hopefully you brought a lugagge scale so that do not exceed check in weight limit if you bought luggage space for trip back.

Tuk tuks are overpriced and overhyped in my opinion. If you are feeling brave, take the motorcycle taxis.

It takes about 45mins by taxi from siam paragon to suvarnabhumi airport if go at 6am before their rush hour starts. Its about 350baht + 50baht so if you can find people to share cab, would be best. I would not recommend taking train with large luggage/boxes on the bts in the morning unless you are taking from phatya tai or maakassan BTS with direct connection to the ARL.

If you are thinking of going Wat Pho for massage, its 100 baht to go in and around 450baht for an hour session which you have to book in advance. Suggest the nearby massage shops nearby as usually their therapists are Wat Pho trained and around 200 baht. Only go Wat Pho if you are thai massage enthusiast and want to know how your future massages are compared to them.

For visiting Khaosan road, take the bus from Mo Chit bus terminal and get off at democracy monument which is like a few minutes walk to reach khao san road. After Khaosan, take 15baht orange boat to Wat Pho and then another orange boat to Central for bts back to city. This way takes more time but you will experience more and confirm will have space in the boat compared to starting at Central. Unless of course you want to pay premium for tourist boat.

***Most BTS stations do not have escalators going down so be prepared. Also MRT and BTS connected stations not exactly next to each other. Have to exit one and walk to the other one. If you are heavy commuter, rabbit stored value card can save your time.

personally i think tesco things more expensive than big c ...
big c always have promo for their members.
you can join their members free

for example, spend 1200b, get 120b free ...
you can claim vat refund ... spend 2000b above in a single receipt ...

however, you need to go many places ...
firstly, big c customer service counter to process your receipt and fill up form
then bring to airport tax refund center (before immigration counter)
then tax refund counter (after immigration counter)

there will be admin fees ...
hence, if you supposed to refund back abt 8sgd ,,, will eventually become 5sgd or lesser. due to their admin fees of abt 3 sgd ...

my conclusion, not worth ...
unless u buy alot !!!

Can you imagine it is about 40 baht for 2x1.5L pepsi there? Oh yes, Big C near Centralworld is selling leather shoes for about 399 baht upwards. Design wise, think Black Hammer.
