yeah, many tourists will go there take pic.
their ferry wheel not cheap. think per person is abt 20sgd ...
oni go there take pic walk walk c c oni ...

need take bts to saphan taksin, walk 5 min to the ferry pier
then wait free shuttle boat there ...
waited abt 20 min tat time ...
gt other hotel free shuttle boat there, but you cant take ...
such as sheraton hotel boat, chatrium riverside hotel boat ...

So atas, even most tourists go there is eyepower only. Not worth the time imo.

Last minute trip, first timer, so overwhelmed by all the infor from all the reading...haha....

that time we went there was around 8pm local time. we thought is last train. so we asked around. then there is a guy who told us still have train.
we waited abt 20min. then the free shuttle train comes...

we walked abt 1.5 hrs.
then told the close to 10pm train back.
by that time, may ppl queue up already, abt 50+ ...
coz think is kinda late, then many ppl going back to their own respective hotel

talk abt air con ...
stayed at one 3stars phuket hotel in march ...
the entire building just black out from 10am to 4pm ...
no notice was given or told to all guests in the hotel ...
the hotel staff should warned all customer of the blackout before it takes place

everyone was walking down the stairs to the lobby to complain ..
coz the lift was spoilt ... luckily i m going to check out ...
but haven bath yet ... so no hot water to shower ....
no wifi, no tv to watch, no air-con, no lift operating ...
the bellboy have to climb all the way up to the hotel room to help guest carry luggages ...
if you stay the top floor, level 9 ... then the bellboy really have a hard time lol...

nowadays hardly take tuk tuk coz air pollution, and also very hot .....
they always quote 150 or 200b ...
must well wait for meter cab to get abt 55 to 85b on avg price...

walk out from mall or hotel you can already feel the heat. even if its in the early even when the sun goes down the heat coming from the floor is still hot.

as long as can step out of singapore, going overseas to travel .... means stepping out of the fast pace stressful environment lol

Actually, 150 baht still okay by our standards as no need wait for taxi using meter. It's those 250baht and above is the problem.

I wanted to spend half my time on the street and half in shopping mall, in the end i spent 90% of my time in shopping mall and hotel.

I actually enjoy my time in my hotel room more than the shopping mall. But Central World is great man, very huge mall with many high end brand.

Most fulfilling moment during this trip is at Jim Thompson House, very nice tour there for 100B only.

The weather is bad even early in the morning like 9am ++. I wonder when i will make another trip there since the clothings don't really interest me. Food wise is not bad. Anything else to look forward to?

eh most will quote 200b.
haha to me is abit expensive, so will max give 150b ...
unless really call until 7 to 10 cab n above, then will give in to him 200b ...

Can negotiate with car taxi if there are many motorcycle taxi around and you dont carry much stuff but so far at most is about 50 baht discount. If in a group, even dont negotiate still okay since everyone chip in. Thats why shopping, always carry a backpack even though troublesome when the security ask to look into it at times. But seriously, their security people are damn polite compared to our own.
