You simply chose the location without having an idea of why you want to go there?

Probably want to give your groups' interests so that people can give suggestions against those interests.

1 day 1 area loh. Leave JJ market till weekend. 1st day should be hypermarket visit of big c near chit lom BTS for necessities. For weekdays night life and market, Patpong and Soi Cowboy areas open till very late at night. Khaosan and Chinatown is best visit in evening. On Nut BTS also has nice nightmarket but start to close somewhat early. MBK for good quality knockoffs, cheaper luggage and mobile phones.

Honestly if your going with your mom. Why save that few dollars. Just take a taxi. If me i would rather my parents have comfort then to save on those few dollars.

It's free. Bring your passport to the customer service counter. You need a Thai address. But no use as it is very hard to accumulate sufficient points to redeem for the "free gifts". I won't bother.

The TOPS card (for TOPS supermarket and the Central Food Hall) is better as an item can go on sale for the TOPS card-holder. Also can accumulate points with purchase but again same like Big C, very hard to accumulate.

There escalators follow timing one. And other then interchange stations, daytime all escalators go up and evening go down. Most likely you will be taxi all the way so you better know the meter pricing of places you want to go from hotel.

Airport rail have no problems with large luggage. It's when you want to change to BTS is when you might have a problem. Up to 25" still okay. I suggest go to ends of train rather then centre so that easier to go out later.

Some stuff can buy at member price at Big C. And I think Dede said buy 1200B got 120B off, but I don't think I can buy so much in a single receipt.

Think I won't be applying already since I don't have Thai address. :(

Will google for TOPS later. Tks for recommendation. :)
