Can share the dimension of your balcony.? And the cost.?I am having ShyZip installed at my place.
I went for their product demo and was impressed with what I saw but as disclaimer, I have not attended any demo from the other mainstream brands like Ziptrak.
I can probably share more after the installation in June.
Do have a look at our Buyer's Guide on Zip-Tracks to understand how to choose them: www.renohoot.sg/Outdoors/Outdoor-Blinds/Buyer_Guide#Zip-TracksSo many kinds of ziptrak equivalent blinds for balcony.

My cost might not be relevant as my installation is part of a group buy for a new development, hence it's discounted. I can link you up with the contact person, I believe they can come down your place to take measurement for a non-obligation quote. Can share the dimension of your balcony.? And the cost.?
Does the shyzip comes with app control, rain sensor.?
Thanks in advance
Good to have remote control. Rain sensor is add on?My cost might not be relevant as my installation is part of a group buy for a new development, hence it's discounted. I can link you up with the contact person, I believe they can come down your place to take measurement for a non-obligation quote.
My package comes with remote control and zwave home integration. Doesn't come with rain sensor I'm afraid.
They don't provide rain sensor as an option.Good to have remote control. Rain sensor is add on?
That sounds interesting! How much for the blinds if I may ask? They don't provide rain sensor as an option.
Since it has zwave integration, I intend to have it integrated with my home automation hub, using either weather forecast API or water leakage sensor to close the blinds.
I am hesitant to share as it is a group buy pricing - they provided discounted price for residents of the condo as long as the minimum order is attained. Hence, my cost might not provide a realistic comparison. That sounds interesting! How much for the blinds if I may ask?
Thanks!!! Do you happen to have YouTube channel? It seems a trend now for people to share their journey but very tediousI am hesitant to share as it is a group buy pricing - they provided discounted price for residents of the condo as long as the minimum order is attained. But if it helps, it's in the range of $20ish psf with zwave integration. You will still need your own home automation hub for integration.
Once it's installed later this month, I will share some photos and my experience.
you should check out those motorised ones if u r keen to get those... but at the same time, can also be manually withdrawn. Are there non-motorised balcony blinds? I am worried the motor will fail eventually and I am unable to withdraw my blind
Is there such option? I went to a couple shops and all of them are either motorised (majority) or manual, cannot combine.you should check out those motorised ones if u r keen to get those... but at the same time, can also be manually withdrawn.
