It's timberland and also available in navy. Alrd have a white pair of sperrys. Feel like getting a pair with multiple colours but not exactly sure how to pair them up.

im digging this pair too, but the laces are a dealbreaker, shoulda settled for something darker and more low profile...i went to zara the other day and saw something vaguely similar...but the one in zara is artificially 'distressed' and made to look old and thoroughly used...cost? $89.90 lol.

taste in fashion is all subjective...depends on what stuff u haf in ur wardrobe and how u intend to mix and match. If you ask me, they look like bowling shoes because of the steep contrast in the white and olive green and are a little too high for boat shoes, looks more like loafers to me. I feel white shoes are pretty dated now, hard to match with clothing...

durability so far for me my shoe is still doing perfect.
comfort wise, DEFINITELY.

the smoked elk one looks more classy.
the other looks more sporty, or rough maybe i'd say.

ill go for the smoked elk one. :)

Ooh thanks! Anyway, noob question. Are these boat shoes water resistant? And are there any shop in singapore that sell sperry's?
TIA

They're leather as far as I know, so I doubt their good in water. But them being named 'boat' shoes... Lol I'm not sure on this.

Boat shoes are water resistent (not waterproof). Or rather, they need to be in order to be called actual boat shoes. For sperry, timberland which are veterans in boat shoes, should have no issue.

In addition, they should quick drying too. e.g. using nubuck leather applied with a layer of special oil and stuff like that to repel water

however, I do not deny that their designs are now more or less copied by other brands and sold to people who prefer to use it as a fashion statement rather than the tool they were originally meant to be.

Not a bad thing if many people feels that its fashionable to wear, but it would just mean that for the more ulu brands, they might not be as water resistent as per what such shoes were made for.

I think after a little breaking in, they are very comfortable. The heel area may cause some issues (blister) for some but they go away soon. A lo or no show socks can be helpful.

I sometimes buy them a half size bigger so that i can add in an insole which provides extra cushion and protect inside of the shoe, especially when wearing them without socks.

I have a pair listed for sale in 10.5 and own a few pairs myself so i am quite familiar.

ya, i agree on the blister, after wearing without sock for half a day, both my feet got serious blister at the heels area.
