Oh. The 6 mths tbill close for application on 31 Aug. Can apply on 30 or 31 Aug. Worth losing a bit of interest since yield is much higher.
Since I’m got a lot of urgent matters to attend to from 30 Aug to 1 Sep, I plan to apply tomorrow. I’ve already forgotten to pay two bills on time this month and I don’t want to risk forgetting this one too. Not to mention I also forgot about the interest calculation method for this promo!

Thanks, vsvs24, for your replies.

I keep 3k min bal because I expect them to increase. So wait and see. Expect them to offer something better than the 3 local banks.

Sorry. My mistake. BOC Smartsaver min bal is $1500. DBS Multiplier is $3000.

Understand as I used to get used to POSB previously too. Sometimes one just need to bite the bullet and change to other bank. It is a lot of hassle indeed but now with mobile app, it is login tap transfer not really hard to do. As to your question when will increase rate hmmmm..... anyone working inside BOC can share?

Seem like BOC more aggressive in revising FD rates to attract longer term funds. FD rates are revised fortnightly, sometimes weekly.

Won’t be so fast . Coz fd adjusting rates much easier than current/savings . There are much more mechanics to change

Just had a question, after I used BOC for so many years...
How to do a post-dated transfer on iBanking?
Inside the iBanking it seems like I can only do a instant transfer, there is no option for me to do a post-dated transfer. However, they do have a "scheduled transaction management" which can query the post-dated transfer. But if I can't create a post-dated transfer, why do I have the need to query it??

Is the post-dated transfer feature hidden somewhere?

For years it has no such feature, this was what I found out many years back. Until BOC updates the ibanking to perform such feature.

So you mean BOC really can't do post-dated transfer?? That is so strange, then why did they implement the feature to query for post-dated transfer...
