I keep a list of MCC for the restaurant/fast food merchant that I usually purchase from.. after a while, you can roughly tell whether it is restaurant 5812 or fastfood 5814 even if you never patronize before.. 5813 even easier to tell..

You can refer to Maybank FF thread in the forum where people keeps a long list of merchants that looks like 5812 but it is not...

Just to update premature withdrawal of BOC FD for SGD has no penalty. They will give you pro-rated board rate interest of 0.10% so it is not zero interest. This is good to me as principal protected and still get a bit interest

Family card offers 3% for online transactions. If your insurer can pay online, then that premium payment will earn 3% cashback
