Deposited 4000 rmb only told to enjoy 0.1% interest

like can stack leh.

14. What is the bonus interest rate for my RMB deposits in BOC MCS account? If I do not have RMB deposits in my MCS account, can I still enjoy salary credit bonus interests on my SGD deposits?

In addition to the SGD bonus interest rate under BOC SmartSaver, you can receive extra bonus interests on RMB deposit(at least RMB1,000) in your MCS account, if you meet the requirement Bonus Interests for Salary Credit. This extra bonus interests will be calculated based on BOC’s current 6-month RMB time deposit interest rate and there is no cap to this bonus interests you can earn.
If you do not have RMB deposits in your MCS account, you are still eligible for Bonus Interests for Salary Credit on your SGD deposits.

I get much higher interest for 1900 Rmb, that time they were having 3.5 %( I cannot remember exact figure) fd promo , 1 year.

Like bank of China. :) a lot of competitive services: credit cards, balance transfer. In the future may even consider transfer my housing loan over if they loosen the tdsr rule. :)

Fd rates normally very good right? 0.1% is the price for the liquidity :(

Yeah, I aim for capital protection for my Rmb only, coz may need to go China next time and can spend again. :)

Currently holding boc visa infinite as well and entitled to the 6 % rebate, but like nothing to buy, so far only spend a few hundreds on it out of max 5 k, seems like a bit wasted Coz of this rare promotion.

Since this is a multi-currency account, if I have spare overseas currencies leftover from overseas trips (e.g. RMB, TWD, HKD, Ringgit, etc), should I deposit into this account?

I mean, after all, putting the currencies in drawer waiting for the next trip to happen, might as well put in bank to earn peanut interest right? :s13:

Opinion, if any?

Only RMB is fee free I think. Last time during account opening I check if deposit USD, they'll take 1% transaction fee. If you withdraw in cash then another 1% fee I believe.

Has anyone tried using MasterPay with BOC Mastercard before (to be exact the Great Wall International Debit Card)?

Hi, anyone knows if there's any contactless credit card from BOC? Eg. Visa PayWave

A bit hard to hit min spending without paywave function.

I don't think there is one. Where paywave is accepted the chip or swipe also can use right?
