For bonus interest? Calendar
hate it that for the bonus interest is based on calendar month but for the bonus rebate on family visa card is on billing cycle which is 23rd of the month for me. ugh.

last time 365 card was simpler coz all based on calendar month.

but oh well, inconveniences to deal with for higher bonus interest/rebates

Yes for manual top up. As long as CC, it is counted as spending, even if you use BOC shop card. Just that no more 6% for BOC shop card.

(a) The total spend by a Cardmember and cash rebate awarded per Account in one billing cycle are based on posted local and foreign retail transactions in that billing cycle, and excludes interest, annual fees, finance charges, cash advances, balance transfer, purchases made through Installment Payment Plans, Flexi-Balance Instalment Plan, Tax Payment Facility, IRAS processing fee, goods and services taxes, loading of prepaid accounts, cards and merchants (including EZ-Link and TransitLink), all fees charged by BOC or any other third parties (if any) and such other transactions as determined by BOC from time to time at its sole discretion.

This has nothing to do with smartsaver.

I think you misinterpreted it. The clause is one of terms and conditions for credit card reward, it is not for savings account (bonus interest for credit card spending) .

so if I were to top $500 on ezlink with family cc,I will get the 1.55% bonus interest ($0 for family rebate as it is not valid spending)?

If keep 60k in this account, one year can get:
60000 x 0.0355= 2130 maximum.

Hope they don't reduce the promotional
Rate.

made the mistake of transferring money from the BOC savings account to the BOC credit cards account for payment. This doesn't seemed to fulfill the criteria of bill payments. So I missed out on the bonus interest for bill payment last month :(

need to use the actual 'Bill Payment' function to pay for the BOC credit cards bills. a stupiak move by me, but just to generate awareness.

Are there any limitations to the bill payments under BOC? Last I read, only some merchants are accepted by BOC?
