hello,
is it worth it if i keep:
30,000 in ocbc to get the 1.2% interest for salary credit
30,000 in boc to get the 1.55% interest for credit card spend & 0.6% for 3 giro payments?

nope 60k in BOC earns u more

30k x 1.2% = 0.36

30k x 2.15% = 0.645

in total (simple int) only 1.05

60k x 2.15% = 1.29

Then another noob question..

BOC Smart Saver is better than UOB One?
BOC SmartSaver is 3.15% (cap at 60K), whereas UOB One is 3.33% (Cap at 50K)?

Opps, the BOC ish 3.55%, you are right.
UOB One should be 3.33%? http://www.uob.com.sg/personal/deposits/chequeing/one_account.html
Edited: Just read the fine print, and realize ya its 2.43% cap. zzz.

Actually... i ish lazy to ask my HR to do the transfer from OCBC to BOC for salary crediting, so I am thinking of ways to keep the salary crediting in OCBC, but utilize the other banks for the GIRO and credit card spend.

The more you compare, the longer you wait.

The longer you wait, the more money you lose.

The more you lose, the more you will compare.

Eh, for those who drive...
BOC doesn't offer any petrol saving privileges, so you all have another credit card for petrol, and BOC Family Card for other credit card spend huh?

Anyway, wanna check..
Anyone of you experience problem trying to sign into BOC internet banking for the first time?
I just signed up for the Smart Saver, and when I tried to log in, I dunno what they want from me?

I went to "activate and bind Etoken", it brought me to a Login Page which I keyed in my user name, password and certification code.
After that, it asked for E-Token No, which I keyed in my OTP.

Then, I entered the serial no found behind the token... and this is when I start getting blur..

It asked me to:
Press' 'button to generate one-off password
Press 'Activate' button if Activcation Code appears

So, I tried to enter the OTP again.
And it says: manually update e-Token failed

What is the problem? Anyone can help?
