Yea the 0.5%+2% for other spending is quite good.

A question for the gurus here:

If for example I set up a monthly GIRO deduction for car loans from my BOC MCS account, does that count as 1 of the 3 required bill payments for bonus interest?

This is what it says on the site but it's not exactly clear to me:

15. How do I qualify for Bonus Interests for Payment?

You will be eligible for Bonus Interests for Payment when you fulfill either one of the following requirements in a calendar month:
(a) Bill Payment: Successfully perform 3 bill payments from your BOC MCS Account via GIRO or BOC Personal Internet Banking using Bill Payment function or

Hi All,

Glad to find this forum to discuss about BOC Smartsaver as I have just opened this account today

After hearing the issues on their Internet Banking, I was expecting to spend more time for the first login. Thankfully, I managed to login successfully upon the first try but there are a few things to take note for first timer:

1) Use the username and password from the password envelope that they gave to you in the branch. Do not need to click on the "Activate and bind eToken" button as the eToken is already activated.

2) If you want to use their SMS OTP to login and perform transactions, you need to apply for this service in their branch.

3) To enable mobile banking, you can login to Internet Banking and click on Service Setting - Enable Mobile Banking

This bank has two usernames and passwords for Internet and Mobile But I found out that you can set both the usernames and passwords to be the same for both services

They have information on Mobile Banking on their website (Not able to post the link as I do not have enough points)

It's under - BOC Singapore >> Self Services >> Mobile Banking in their bankofchina.com/sg website

Search for "BOC Mobile Banking" in App Store to download the APP and login to mobile banking after you have registered for your mobile banking in Internet Banking.

Hope the above information will be useful for those having problems to access their Internet and Mobile banking services.

Convenient to share what u heard were the changes? If its gonna be changed to affect my needs then i wont wanto go thru the trouble of switching over from ocbc since i just created the account.

They have the right to do so. Just need to give min 1 month notice, if the change is significant.

Hi,

I want to know how long would it take for the AXS payment to appear in the posted transaction.

I made a cc. bill payment on monday night (24-Oct) and till now there's no posted transaction on that. I thought I would receive an SMS notification, but that doesn't happen as well.
