Dear experts, judging from the new interest rate wef from 1dec, for my situation whereby I have about 30k and I can only fulfil spending of $500 and making 3 payments, is uob one a better option for me? I'm not too sure if my table is correct appreciate any inputs, if my calculation is wrong. Thanks.

If you spend $500 and make 3 payment, you will be getting 0.8%(card spend)+0.35%(payment)+0.35%base=1.5%.

If you spend $500 and make 3 payment, salary credit less than 6k, you will be getting 0.8%(card spend)+0.35%(payment)+0.8%(salary)+0.35%base=2.3%. Likewise the interest for the $60k row for UOB One should be $1215+0.05%*$10k=$1220

Btw the $60k rows for BOC is wrong, should be 1.55% and 2.35% respectively. It is only the amounts above $60k that are getting on 1%. Eg $70k savings, $60k gets 1.55% or 2.35%, $10k gets 1%

Btw can share why you asking about a scenario without salary crediting?

Because salary after deduction on cpf still can't hit $2000 that's why... It's not that I don't want :(

Supposed 100k, which Two accounts to use?

60k in ocbc and remaining in boc?

How about if 130k?

60k in ocbc and 70k in boc?

I have not thought about uob cause I dun have their cArds and lazy to transfer over balances unless it is really attractive

It depends. You just need to know the bonus interest you be getting and the corresponding requirements, and also the card rebate. After that calculate the interest+rebate you be getting.

Now I fully understand what it means by poor english. Tried to call customer service just now. And a non-native English speaker with strong chinese accent was attending me. Sigh....

Btw, anyone experience your internet banking being forced logout after you login successfully? Subsequently my internet baking got blocked cuz it says multiple failed login.:eek: I never failed a single login at whole since I'm using it.... wtf..

Agree. Call in again this morning. Sigh... another disappointment. Can't even understand the meaning of continuous failed login. zzzzz...

My concern is Im afraid someone might tap onto my acc. (if thats possible) and then transfer out/use them without notifying).... which Im not sure if it could happen. Which I why I call in to ask my account status.

IN any case, anyone have encountered this frequently?

Anyone tried to do bill payment recently? I tried from both online browser and via BOC mobile app, trying to do a scheduled bill payment for BOC credit card for future dates, and got the error message ïllegal added (modified) appointment date.

Is scheduled payment no longer possible? Any others with same experience or advice? Thanks!

if i remember correctly, if you try to do scheduled payment on the next day it will have this error, must choose a date further in advance.

best to sort it out at the branch and then test your login on the spot.
