Hello, would like to check, if I use the boc family supp card to pay for SP services bills at the SP service counters, do I get 0.5% + 2% supp card rebate? and is the spending counted as boc smartsaver account card spend bonus? Thanks!

You will get 0.5% for that credit card cycle and another 1.5% in next cycle.

It seems like my new company uses quick cheque deposit for salary crediting and only POSB & OCBC is used.

So i think my BOC Smartsaver account is no use for salary crediting already.

Even if i get the cheque and deposit to BOC, i will not get the salary creditng bonus.

Guess time to change to OCBC for the 1.2% salary crediting bonus. I suppose i will keep BOC for bill payment & GIRO since i want to avoid the hassle to change bank again.

Btw how does a company's salary crediting works? Is it possible to deposit a cheque with BOC smartsaver account on it in POSB?

Typically through Cheque i don't think the code will reflect correctly as mandated by some other major banks as well. Typically need to be paid via GIRO from company to Bank with "SALA" most of the time. Because when companies do salary crediting with Bank, the Bank earn a small amount of nominal fees from the companies, thus offering extra interests to consumer.

Even without the salary credit bonus interest, I can still earn 1.55%. My company said every month they will do QCD so no more giro.

Perhaps I will just maintain with BOC SmartSaver account.

You will get overall 2%, no more, no less.
