Please help correct my understanding:

To qualify i registered my mobile number (same mobile registered with BOC) with Paylah via BOC account.

Next to qualify i transfer 2x $10 using BOC paylah to my NRIC which is registered to Paylah using NRIC with another bank.

Did i get it right?

Nope. Register your mobile number to BOC PayNow.

Use another bank account to transfer to your mobile number linked PayNow account which should be your BOC account.

Both wrong. Read the tnc.

Register your mobile phone with paynow using boc internet banking. Paynow, not paylah. Boc no paylah. Paylah under DBS. Most banks have paynow.

Transfer 2 x $10 from another bank to boc paynow. Eg ocbc. No need to register in other bank to transfer out by paynow. Choose paynow and by mobile phone.

Opps typo on the Paylah...should be PayNow...got it...so i reverse the transfer flow...i actually transfer from BOC paynow out to my paynow with another bank when it should be the other way round.

Thanks for clarifying!

Few other pointers about how to maximised the BOC savings:
1) Pay bills thru AXS using BOC debit card (it does not contribute to card spend) - 0.1%

2) BOC Paynow - Paynow from BOC mobile number to NRIC 2x $10

Any other tips?

PSA: AXS has been excluded since last mth, updated in their website since then

The following transactions do not qualify for this bonus:

Cash withdrawal
Fees or charges
Funds transfer or cash advance
Transactions on BOC Cards that are terminated or unsuccessful
The unposted amounts under Installment Payment Plan (“IPP”) and Flexi-Balance transactions
Any amount charged to your BOC Debit or Credit Cards that is subsequently cancelled, voided or reversed
AXS payments (transactions via all AXS channels, including AXS station, AXS e-station, AXS m-station, etc.)
Any other transactions BOC may determine as not eligible for Card Spend bonus from time to time without prior notice.

Didn't know about this until you shared this information. Anybody has any recommendations on what card to use for axs payments?

You have mixed up the cultural debit card 0.1% spend rebate with the smartsaver spend bonus. All these while AXS payments do not get the smartsaver bonus interest but still eligible for the 0.1% debit card rebate.

Anyone switched from Credit Card to Debit Card for Spending Bonus due to annual fee?

Do we need to notify BOC on any tagging for switching between spending card for the below scenarios:
- Credit Card to Debit Card (e.g. Family to BOC Debit Card)
- Credit Card to Credit Card (e.g. Family Card to Qoo10)

There is no such things as tagging, they will just calculate all your spending across all cards at the end of the month.

Oh nice didn't know that.. so all cards tied to name or to deposit account? I know I need to go down to branch in-person to have my credit card tied to my online banking account so I'm wondering if spending on the credit card counts if I haven't done that

all eligible credit/debit spendings under your principal credit/debit card accounts will automatically be counted to the card spend for bonus interest.
