anyone facing slow OTP from BOC? ?

encountered several times of embarassment during payment via Grabpay or favepay becos the OTP tooks forever to come...and when it came..a few sms came altogether and i dun even know which pin to use.

Yes boc had problem ytd I press so many times otp, 1 to 2 hours later staggered 12 smses came. I gave up by then.

Why isn't your boc card saved inside the grab or fave app beforehand? Saving it will not prompt for otp when making payments on the spot.

becos I only spend $500 zhun zhun and switch over to other credit card..so I always kanna this when I switch credit card..

sometimes the app also dun save the credit card also..


so seems like I am not the only one..I still thot it's giga problem cos i switched to giga not long ago...

not get it, what is the relation between hitting $500 spend on credit card with SMS OTP?

giga has otp problems with certain bank. giga does not admit it when i quizzed them as i have other experiences with other telcos and i ported out of Giga soonafter.

not get it, what is the relation between hitting $500 spend on credit card with SMS OTP?

means I switch out spending on this card once I hit $500 every month..then switch back to this card will have to key in OTP again..

same, happened to me since last month. Am trying to pay bills online now and it is still happening...1 month later

I just tried requesting for SMS OTP to pay one bill. Retried 3x and the OTP still never came. SIGH.

ya...kanna again just now when trying to pay bill...

quite unreliable compared to other banks and even local banks..

It is. But for 3.55% cant really complain. Now it is way ahead the rest of the banks.

All our SG local banks cut rates at sight of low interest env.

agreed. the other day received letter from them..but it was just informing their plans to go green and asked whether I wanted to opt out. :D

yeah, received it as well. I am ok with them going full green, just dont touch my interest unless they revising upwards.

Does anyone know how to do a FAST transfer to another bank account using the BOC online interface? I can do a PayNow transfer and I can add other bank accounts as payees, but I can't find the option to transfer money to other bank accounts.

Has anyone tried changing the billing cycle for BOC credit cards to more closely match the calendar month?

the transfer is FAST as long as is a singapore account
