is anyone thinking of making a voluntary refund of housing loan due to all these low interest?

bonussaver: 1.3% up to 80k (salary+ 3bill+2000spend)

uob one: 1.2% up to 75k (salary + cc spend)

boc: to be updated (3bill+ 1500spend+salary)

hsbc ega: embedded somewhere, cant find. heard it's adjusted from 1.65% to 1.3% for 3 months, excluding $800debit spend and $5000forex bonus.

dbs multiplier: not looking at this

maybank: not looking at this

maxigain: not looking at this

ocbc 360 up to 70k(plus 500increments): 1.2% (salary+ save)

Where you get the info for BOC ? Their category was $500 or $1500 spend

The logical thing to do is to dump all excess cash into the stock market while prices are still low, at least in SG and HK compared to USA.

Emotionally, its a bit hard to do though, given the downside risks.

i can't take photo of the changes so it's purely based on my memory

conditions for xtra interest: no change

card spend: 1.6 > 0.7 / 0.8 > 0.35
salary: 1.2 > 0.7 / 0.8 > 0.35
bill payment: no change
xtra savings: 0.6 > 0.3
base interest: 0.4 > 0.2

max savings to earn xtra interest increase from 60k to 80k

once again it's unofficial and for u guys to start planning ahead first
