Hi all,

Did you see your credit cards in your internet banking under Credit Card Overview option? I have three cards but none is showing in the internet banking. Just wondering if i spend on the cards, will i get the bonus?

You need to bring all cards down to BOC branch and link them there in person. As long as your cc transactions are posted in the month and minimum $500 you should be able to get the bonus. Don't spend within 3 days of the month end as the transaction may not get posted in time.

I called to change the cc statement date, the CSo said only new users can do that. Since my cc accounts quite 'old', I need to cancel all 3 cc then wait for 45 days to reapply and specify which statement date I prefer.
Sheer non-sense or a joke? Have never encountered this for any other banks before.

i was told the same by the cso too, just got my card in final week of november...wish they could at least let user change the billing cycle to calendar month...but i think another user was advised can only choose from 3 different dates for billing cycle?

I also only got 2.

Ibank also did not state at all.

Interest Adjustment 12/10/2015 17:52:14

Interest Settlement 11/30/2015 00:22:50

I spent more than $1k on the card as well.

Made more than 4 payments via their system

Shouldnt i get 3 at least exclude the salary?

1: Base Interest
2. Spending on Card
3. Bill payments

Seems like most of ppl here only got 3 types of interest credited into their account? the spending on card interest yet to receive?

The base interest is provided at end of the month? seen as interest settlement?
The one stated interest adjustment....it is probably for bill payments?
What will one see if u get for salary credit?

hi,
just curious...why need to change statement date?
the criteria is to spent 500 and make three bill payment within the calendar month.

Ideally, you want to spend more than $500 to clock the extra % in smart saver AND to qualify for the credit card rebate. However, the credit card rebate is based on the card statement date.

anyone managed to try to withdraw from atm via boc cc ?
I tried and can't withdraw.

Searched around and it seems like boc cc can't do withdrawals.

Just to confirm the debit card cannot be used for nets payment?

NETS enabled Cards issued by participating banks DBS Bank, OCBC Bank, UOB, HSBC, Maybank and Standard Chartered Bank, can be used to make NETS debit payments everywhere in Singapore, covering more than 85,000 acceptance points island-wide.

So.. BOC cannot...

So far, only bonus interest for card spending is not credited yet. I was told it would take 15 business days, so it's not "due" yet.

We should all call the Call Centre or inform via the branch that the description of the bonus interests are not accurately shown as stated under their terms (see below):

18. How will I know that the bonus interests are credited to my BOC MCS Account?

Your bonus interests will be reflected in your BOC MCS Account’s monthly statement as:

SmartSaver Bonus Interest – Card Spend
SmartSaver Bonus Interest – Payment
SmartSaver Bonus Interest – Salary Credit
SmartSaver Bonus Interest – Salary Credit (RMB)

You will receive the bonus interests within 15 business days of the following month. If your account is closed before the bonus interests crediting date, the bonus interests will be forfeited.
